Love you Erin💖 I LOVE DRYELL!!!! Been using it literally for nearly 20 years & it has kept me from the dry cleaner. If you have a steam cycle on your dryer, you can run it through that too. My tips for Dryell: *DON’T overload the bag and remove the bag & hang up the items IMMEDIATELY after the cycle! You’ll actually create wrinkles if you leave it in the dryer. *If it’s a heavy item like a blazer, only put maybe a pair of pants or a skirt in with it. *Because you’re only doing a 20min cycle, don’t worry about dryer heat on the items. I regularly use it for wool, cashmere, silk, linen, etc. Never had shrinkage! *You will still need an iron & a steamer, but Dryell will freshen and clean your pieces. *Spray extra sensitive “areas” that may hold odor first with a combination of febreeze mixed with lavender, it will boost in the dryell bag. *You should travel with a dryell bag and a few sheets, along with a portable steamer. Especially if you’re staying in someone’s home or an airbnb.

“Bust out of the box!” 😂 I would love a part 2. 💛 You hit on one of my pet peeves, jewelry sets that match. Like someone wearing their birthstone in matching starburst earrings, a small starburst pendant necklace and starburst ring they often have on sale at your local big box store. Really, matchy-matchy anything (although I am matching my emojis). Get out of the everything must match box! And, I agree, you don’t always have to wear earrings with a necklace, especially if it’s a statement necklace or earrings.🥰

Stay tuned, Gretchen! I think matchy matchy jewelry was so popular for so long. So many people still have these sets, but they forget that they can break them up. xo

YES!!! Dry Cleaners throw everything in big drums with fixed heat and shrinkage occurs ; they rarely separate fabric out by fiber for example, such as all wool vs. a blend. Found silk blouses ruined with faded colors. Even paying extra for special care is dicey. If I can't hand wash, air dry, or use a home DC kit ,I dont buy. The dry cleaner at home kits work okay, BTW. If the item is not dirty per se but, has a stale smell from ,say, a restaurant , I leave in the dryer for a couple of days. The outside air that comes in from the vent refreshes the fabric- no heat necessary.

My style has definitely evolved over the decades. I just turned 60 - HA! Don’t feel it or look it and feel style confident more than ever! Still love my skinny jeans with mid to high waist. Love clothing that fits my petite frame and I gravitate towards a lot of dresses in fitted or flowy shapes. Prefer knee length and longer. Know my best colors. And I have my fave jewelry pieces always ready to wear. Being in hot Florida my style is more airy and the materials are natural fibers or blends thereof. Poly makes me sweat! Cute sandals are a must have. My motto is let myself try new things, but always be honest with myself on cut, fit and color. 🥰👍❤️

I had my Color Me Beautiful colors done about 40 years ago. Best investment ever! At first I just changed the color of my makeup and got TONS of comments, even from men. Everyone knew I looked different- younger? better? haircut? They just couldn’t figure out what I’d done. I used to love summer colors, and switched to winter colors. Huge improvement. Really unbelievable. I once tried on a light gray blouse just because it matched the color on my chart. I hated gray. Yuck! Tried it on and bought the blouse, and quit hating gray. I read the Color Me.. book and couldn’t figure it out on my own.

You are so right about being true to yourself when it comes to your style. For the past couple of years, I see "everyone" wearing the Blundstone boots, and they look great on so many people, but every time I would go to the store and look at them, I just couldn't see myself in them, and to be honest, I really didn't like them that much. A steamer is a great way to freshen blazers between cleanings. People tend to overclean garments when they just need airing out or steaming after wear. I have a metallic bomber jacket with silk lining that I’ve never had cleaned. It’s usually only worn in the evening for a few hours so giving it the occasional steaming is sufficient.

I used to use Dryel as well except when something really expensive was really stained and needed professional treatment. There isn't one standard answer. Depending on the environment and the attire listed on the invite. I would have thought that your pantsuit would have been perfect for a barn wedding. THANK YOU for saying this about wearing colors or color seasons (that’s the same thing right?) ! I kept reading all these comments about how life changing having your colors done is and I watched a lengthy video that was so complex and just came back to “jewel tones,” which I’ve known all my life. I don't feel dry cleaning don't really make your clothes clean and they often get this greyish tone to the colors after a while, so I wash most of my clothing even if it says dry cleaning on the label. Sometimes items are marked with incomprehensible recommendations. Always look at the garment description and decide from there. With the great washing machines we have today most clothing comes out nicely after wash. I even wash my Moncler down jacket (requires many tennis balls in the drier to get it back to fluffy), but it works fine. I use the wool settings.

Great video thank you! I am grateful for your reminder not to over complicate things. I need to hear that! Thank you for your funeral part. My husband has aggressive late stage cancer and I’m relieved to know I’m not morbid in my planning. I’ll be gutted as you say, Thanks Erin. 🙏

I'm SO incredibly sorry, Sara! When the time comes, it'll be too hard to think about this. Having something planned will take at least one thing off your mind! Sending you a huge hug! I'll be thinking about you! xo

4:49 what helps me is taking a pic with my phone when I try different colors of the same piece on and look at pictures to decide which fits me best :)

I have used Dryell for years, It's great, handles sweaters, and perks up lined skirts and pants. I do have my really nice winter coats, and blazers dry cleaned by pros, because they will press them, and they look so crisp and fresh when I get them back.

I've used the at-home dry cleaning, and I'm very happy with it! For stuff that needs just a general refreshing or for a piece with a couple of small or an easy stain, it's perfect. And the price is easy. The only thing we still send to a dry cleaner is my husband's suits.

All I end up wearing is my Zumba clothes! I go almost every place with my shorts and Zumba tank tops. I have tons of clothing. I love watching your videos and giving me inspiration to wear my regular nice clothes.

So as our style changes what’s a good strategy for keeping your wardrobe to a minimum as you evolve?
@BusbeeStyle3 жыл бұрын
As you bring in new pieces, consider getting rid of some of the items you no longer wear. (one in-one out). xo

I would like to see a review on which stores you shop at. Example; a place for dressy clothes and a place for modern causal clothes.

I primarily shop from the same handful of stores...Nordstrom, Saks, and Bloomingdales are always go tos. I also love Shopbop, Revolve, Express, Evereve, and Intermix just to name a few. xo

I did the season coloring thing. I still just pick what looks good that I like. Dryel works great to clean Dry Clean Only. I totally relied on it when working for Corporate America to keep my business suits clean.

Hi beautiful girl....loved this video. I have used Dryel for years and years. It won’t clean a bad stain, but I do it to refresh coats, dresses etc that say dry clean, I had a beautiful linen dress that looked like a rag when it came back from the cleaners. I also think it is not safe..there is a chemical smell to dry cleaned clothes. So, yes to Dryel. I love you are incorporating bees into your style with that beautiful necklace. Xoxo 😘

Thank you for so much great information! Yes, a part 2 please. What shoes are staples to have and never go out of style? Thanks
@BusbeeStyle3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Andrea! It depends on your needs. For me, I'd say a pair of classic heels in black and skin tone, a pair of casual sneakers, dress booties and casual booties. In the spring and summer, I like to add in a few pairs of fun sandals. xo

I will spot clean and then use Dryel to freshen clothing, also if the fabric allows I will sometimes steam items. I don’t think the in dryer treatments really “clean” anything...just my opinion, great content Erin, thank you !❤️

I agree, Donna! I was thinking that they would be more of a refresh than a real cleaning. I appreciate you sharing your experience with me! xo
