When Einstein divorced Mileva, she insisted that part of the settlement would be the Nobel Prize money--should he win it. She knew he would. He agreed. He went on to win, she got the money, and she invested it in Swiss apartments and became well off. Kinda cool to keep faith in your faithless husband and outwit the genius at the same time.

You are wrong. Mozart lived from 1756-1791, at that time, Austria was the leading part of the Holy Roman Empire of GERMAN Nations. The Kaiser in Vienna was the Kaiser of whole germany. Mozart himself ever explained, that he was German. Austria was excluded of German territory in the Austro-Prussian war in 1866, nearly hundred years after Mozart. After World War One, the Treaty of Versailles forbids German and (German-)Austria to unite, although the most Austrians wanted to join Germany after loosing the non-German parts of Austro-Hungarian empire. So, Mozart was as German as Beethoven.
@kfdsa4 жыл бұрын
@@dikon0172 I understand from where you are coming from BUT national identity nowadays (and nations) have to be treated very carefully with historical nationality and identity. Fact is that Mozart was born and is from Salzburg, that was an independent "Hochstift" called Prince-Archbishopric of Salzburg. Back then German didn't mean what we nowadays mean as a national identity, but a "cultural" one - linguistically speaking - as the (majority) of people in the Holy Roman Empire were German-speaking people, but national wise identified variously - as Bavarians, Tyroleans, Prussians etc. The Holy Roman Empire was located in nowadays Germany AND Austria and other modern States (Italy, etc.). As there were a lot of German speaking people in Italy and other countries, german was meant for its people as a group but not as a nation nor a place. Also the name of Germany/Deutschland didn't exist as a legal subject as Italy didn't (parted into smaller nations with a common language only that "made them unified"). Also Vienna was and still is located in Austria, with Vienna, Upper and Lower Austria being the "oldest" parts of Austria as those regions were identified as "Ostarrichi"/Austria around the 10th century long before the word Germany/Deutschland even existed. The word German Nations was first used around the 15th century and even then only rarely. It is a very tricky territory, because the national Identity of German is relatively new and roughly "only" 100 years old, because even then some people still had their "separate" identity from Germany and saw themselves as German speaking but maybe a Bavarian (for Example). Even in Austria Tyroleans themselves identified as their own group separate from Austria for a long time and never referred to themselves as Austrians (although being part of it for hundreds of years). What we nowadays think of national identity was not the norm back then, especially since those terms had a completely different meaning than nowadays.

Marriage to first cousins is lawful in many countries, including the UK and most of Europe, North Africa, Mexico, Central and South America, Canada, the Middle East and Australia. Male line descendants of Eston Hemings have taken DNA tests proving that he is a male line descendant of Thomas Jefferson. This test was done in 1998 and has since been confirmed several times. Not only do the tests confirm that Thomas was Eston Hemings' father they prove beyond any possibility of any scientific doubt that it is absolutely impossible for anyone else but Thomas Jefferson to be Eston Hemings' father. Since it is also proven beyond any doubt that Eston Hemings is Saras Hemings' son then that DNA proof also proves that Thomas Jefferson and Sarah Hemings had a sexual relationship. The overwhelming body of other physical evidence also confirms the relationship and that Jefferson also fathered 5 other of Sarah Hemings' children. The circumstantial evidence by itself is so overwhelming that it would prove paternity in most current family courts in the absence of DNA. But combined with the DNA and physical evidenced this is an absolute certainty. So no, it is not a rumor. It is fact. Hate to burst your bubble.

@@rdbchase- I agree with you yet again. I hate that there are so many people who don’t seem to care enough to even take the time to try to understand any other views, or options, that don’t immediately match up to their own way of thinking. BTW- I personally don’t think that all of these stories are very “perverted” at all...I can think of quite a few men in our not so distant history who would fit this category a lot better than Mozarts poop jokes!

sad how so many westerners still today hate Gandhi so much, they will do anything to bad mouth the poor guy. love it when he said he laid "almost" naked, which is just another way of saying he wore his traditional "loin cloth" wrap that he wore everywhere else. westerners even called "half naked" back then to make him look like a primitive cave man. also how exactly would one go about putting chastity to the test? what a trollish video.

Sexual molester, pervert, and kinky are three different things. Yes there is often a lot of overlap (and depending on the definition sexual harassment and kinks ARE perverted) but some of these men werent perverted in the sense of "just got a dirty mind bro"... they were the other two Edit: also being gay doesnt automatically mean the same thing as being a pervert

Why is the word "pervert" synonymous with "natural and healthy sexual desires"? Sure, a few of your examples were about certain weird fetishes, but overall most of the men (why no women? Can't they be "perverts" too?) were just sexual beings like everyone else on the planet. Why are men always stigmatized for liking sex?
