Wow, I love these contemporary idioms. Please do again after some time.

Everyone please remember to press like/thumbs up to thank Grace for her effort! 😊 3:14 hey, I actually saw this movie (Our Times)! It was really cute. 12:30 for 完了 Wánle, thankfully the literal meaning of "it's over" also makes sense to people like me. I also sometimes use 完蛋了 Wándànle as a variation

@@GraceMandarinChinese that's so cool! I wonder if some actual students were invited to be in the movie as extras 🙂
@GraceMandarinChinese Жыл бұрын
@@yazars Yes! They did recruit some students from our school to be extras in the movie. 😉 Unfortunately, the school had a rule that seniors couldn't participate due to exam preparations, so I didn't get a chance to be involved. 🥲

@@GraceMandarinChinese I would have been so frustrated to not have a chance to be in a movie! However, it would probably be difficult to argue about how well you did on your exams, and you were able to become famous in another way 😁

Nobody cares but I wanna say this. In 2020 when I got nothing to do bc of the pandemic, I fell in love with Chinese costume dramas, then in order to understand better I decided to learn Chinese. Now I've been studying for 2 years quite seriously, I love China even more. Thanks for helping me with your amazing lessons ❤

@@GraceMandarinChinese Hey Grace, thanks for your reply! Excuse me for my late response... I just saw this in my notifications. I am of course half-joking, but you know it can be tough sometimes talking to Chinese parents, especially when you don't meet their expectations when it comes to grades 😂 如果拿到的成绩不好,那你想说什么都没有用。只会听到 “少来这套” 😂
