What a great way to spend your day off. It's always a nice to pull out records from your own collection. You'll listen with fresh ears and often rediscover your old albums. You should do top 10 Flying Nun, but I guess you already did that at some point. Cheers!

If you like the sound of spaceships taking off, have a listen to The Bermuda Triangle by Tomita. The whole album is mostly bollox until 47:30 through to the end. If you've got big speakers & a touch of reverb, even better!

sounded like Bach organ concert in the background!

Some absolute favorites of mine; Dub House was a record the changed the way I looked at music. It was difficult at first and then it hit. And the difficulty became a pleasure. Mudhoney is the band that gave grunge a good name. They probably saved rock music at the time. Lol. I saw X in 1986 when I was just a teen - so good. Finally, Faith is maybe my favorite Cure album. Funeral Party is the band at their most depressing and also at their best. Great video. Cheers. Shawn.

the x record promises so much from the cover-- seems so sanitized to me, maybe it felt different back in 81. now this heat-- totally agree a band that has aged very very well.

@@diamond_marimba yeah, definately have to go into it with adjusted expectations I think. I really like it for what it is. I enjoy it as a catchy punk-lite album. Hope you are well, really enjoyed your Glasshouse video but forgot to comment.

the AR Kane IS part of a reissue series by Rocketgirl rec in the UK. There was a comp 2-3yr back but now both LPs and a few EPs are out. Rough Trade shop in UK had them recently

Great pick with that AR Kane EP - I caught them last friday in Bristol playing with Seefeel and was blown away by how good they were. Wasn't too sure what to expect given that one of the original members wasn't playing with them, but they were extremely good! Not a patch on Seefeel but then who is?
@ButteryDigsАй бұрын
@@jahrastafari8------B------ Really? Wow now we are talking dream gig territory. Am guessing Seefeel were amazing? Honestly I had no idea they were back and doing live stuff again.
