I was able to fit both the point and the flat on my Asmoke the other day! Had to cut off half of the flat though to fit it all on and my point was just grazing the lid. Turned out great though and change wait to stop it again!

Do you use any other pellet brands aside from the Asmoke pellets? What brand and wood flavor?
@Marcelo_B_1593 жыл бұрын
how do you remove the pellets? I got one, which is great! but I have only used it with mesquite. I would like to try apple and others pellets, but not sure how to remove the old ones

Looks good. I wonder if a guy would take a whole brisket and trim part of the flat off to use later and just smoked the point and part of the flat? Going to have to try it on mine this Spring. I have used it about 3 times now and have been happy for the most part but it is getting cold out now. I have had temperature swings with mine but am blaming it on the cool weather. :-) To bad there was not an external hole where a guy could attach an extra hopper on the side for the long smokes. Good video Bad Beast, thanks.

What temp did you set the asmoke at and at what hours into the smoke did you top off the hopper? Also, did you spritz at any point?
@BadBeastBarbecue3 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, the temp on the asmoke was set to 250 degrees, I don't remember spritzing, if I had it probably would have been in the video...lol, I topped the hopper off twice I think I checked it every 3 hours....hope this helps

Was fortunate to get in on the promo. I enjoy it very much. It's perfect for smaller, shorter duration cooks than my Traeger. I looked into getting a couple for gifts and YIKES! the price is double the indiegogo promo. You do get the tools, but no pellets. I'm not sure what the marketing plan was, but afterwards I've seen practically the same grill made by Country Smokers for about 35% less. The only difference I can see is no integral meat probe, gloves or utensils. The Country Smoker does have a thermometer in the lid, which is nice to keep an eye on the temp inside while cooking. Aside from that, love your videos. You're a Backyard BBQ guy that us self funded cooks can relate too.

I'm sorry but I ordered one of these girls back in December 2nd in I got some little pieces ship growth but worth about $19 that very happy with this company so everybody for watch would you buy who you buy it from
@MikeHoncho8844 жыл бұрын
If you have enough lid height you can put a clean piece of wood under the middle of the brisket and hump it up over the wood and not have to cut any meat off the end of the brisket. I see they make a taller lid but it’s $70. Nice cook man!!!

Do you have the vents on the deflector part of the grill completely closed? Also any issues with more than usual amounts of ash?

Nice vid. What cook temp did you go with. Do you think 10 lbs of pellets? How much in your grease catch cup? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they're made in China and very similar to the "country smoker frontier" just a different lid
