Miah I think today you have helped more MEN than you will EVER know. I have found in my healing practice that MEN never talk openly about how their heart aches after losing a child. Women forget that it isn't just "THEIR" loss, it's an "OUR" LOSS! I lost four and I know my husband buried his heartache which caused alot of other issues to surface. I'm sorry for your loss and I am proud of you for sharing and opening the dialogue for others. Oh, and ONCE A MARINE ALWAYS A MARINE! HOO RAH! Never forget that, we stick together no matter what!

Same here. At 64 I am limited with what I can do with back issues, RA, recovering from a stroke and hip issues but with chickens and a flower garden adding a veggie garden again (thanks to Jess), I get discouraged that I am not getting what I want to be accomplished done so I just do nothing and then feel bad/mad with myself. One day at a time.

Thank so much for telling us about your life, including your obsession with Legos and Nerdiness. God has gifted you with a wonderful wife, a lovely family, and an insatiable desire to a create. I think most of us have had our plans altered by unavoidable events, but its often God's way of ordering our 'stops' as well as our steps. I too used to have an excessive need to know, but after 70 yrs, I finally learned that I don't need to have all the answers. I just have to trust the One who does. You expect to get to know little snippets that arent very significant, but he managed to quickly share the most depth and a real overview of his life that spoke volumes to me and reminded me wherever we are in life,God has good things ahead. Lying here 2 weeks after having my lower spine rebuilt, I find this completely inspirational. The limitations I have experienced hopefully will start to fade to where we can realize our dreams the way you two have. What you and I have in common is a loving wife who partners with us and loves us. Our 35th anniversary is in less than 2 weeks. I can retire the end of next year at age 56, and we long to be free. We have almost 7 acres with a large barn and shop building, and I am ready to move on. Thanks for sharing, both of you. BTW I could totally see the Star Trek designs in your ships. Nicely done! Jeremiah, thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us. My husband is a retired Air Force officer and I'm a physical therapist, so I understand how much of our identity is intertwined with what we do for our profession. And I can't imagine how hard it was to process that new identity at such a young age. Unfortunately, we also know the sting of loosing children. Our first child was born at 29 weeks. She was a tiny feisty 2 lbs. 4 oz.😁. Fortunately, she was able to come home w/ us after 6 weeks in the NICU. We got to have her with us for 7 months until God called her to be with Him. As much as it hurt, I can't blame Him for wanting her back...she was pretty great 😌. After she passed, we were blessed with a healthy baby boy, who is turning 13 in a few months 💙. We became pregnant very quickly after his birth with our 3rd child (2nd son), who unfortunately was stillborn. It was unfathomable to me that we were going through more loss. But after loosing him, we had 5 miscarriages and finally when I was 38, God saw fit to bless us with our 9th pregnancy and she is another tiny, feisty but this time healthy little girl. She's 6.💗 Ironically she was born when we were stationed in AR. So from the outside looking in, we have this perfect little nuclear family. But you never know what's under the bandage of someone's life until you peel it back and see those wounds. We are so different, but so similar at the same time and I for one am grateful for you and your family. You all are still serving not only your country, but the world, with all that you give us and teach us through your videos. I thank you, sincerely. And Happy Memorial Day Marine. You earned it.😌🇺🇲

Love you guys I think I’m going to have to set a timer for how long I sit and watch your videos sometimes I think the chair is attached to my bum. There is one thing that I find unusual is that you say I bless you I have never heard that from anyone other then our priest. Although I do say Bless you a lot so I guess that means the same . I have learned a lot about raised bed gardening from you Jess. I have put in a 8x8 raised bed and planted a square foot garden. The one thing people do not understand, is radiation and chemo kills the good things along with the bad. And until God's healing it lingers they're your lifetime. That's what he's calling limitations. I understand this because I've had a year of chemo and a very horrible surgery. I have 24/7 pain and I mean pain. Pretty bad when the body says no but the brain says let's keep on going. Blessings to your family love this channel. I love the fact that God has the platform. Can't you just feel the smile of God.
