Jeremiah, what great words of wisdom. I am Ms. Jessica's Dad's age and I have had to change my diet so I can continue to be a good Dad and now Grandpa to my five grandchildren. Raising a boy without his father that passed when he was 10 yo. Thankful that I had a partner that could step into that father figure role and they are still friends today... my son is now 47 and a great father to his kids... especially his 21 yer old son... somtimes it had been a little rocky between them but they always work it out...Sounds like your a great dad Miah, keep up the good work and never let your kids get away from you as they can as teenagers... The boys just visited me last week and spending some quality time together, father and son...

I really appreciate what you said Jeremiah about being there for your kids and your kids kids and making changes for them. My dad passed away 9 years ago (tomorrow is the anniversary) and I was only 23. It hurts my heart to think my nieces and nephews and my future children will never get to know him. He thought he had more time to make those changes but God had other plans. Honestly good advice for everyone. Our health isn’t just for ourselves, it’s for everyone around us that we love.

Happy Father's Day Jeremiah! You are definitely a blessed man. My dad passed away a week after he turned 47. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor and didn't get to live to much longer afterwards. Even after 39 years I think of him often. Praying that you get to live a long life and that you get to go to Ben's son's baseball game.

I hear you Miah. My father went to work and fell off his truck and sadly died after 3 wks in intensive care, 8 operations and full life support. His father gave me away because Dad was taken at 49 years young. My Mumma got taken 8 wks ago at 65 years young. I'm 45 and a Mum to a 22 and 17 year young men and I'm now addressing my health harder than ever before. I have been for years, but even more so now and so is my Son's father. Praying for long life to all ⭐🙏

My father died of a massive heart attack at age 56. I wish all fathers would take better care of themselves. There are five of my children he never got to meet. Thanks for being so kind to the Jerseys. They are my favorite breed of milk cows.

I encourage parents to find ways to relieve stress. It impacts your health in so many ways. My mother died in her early 40's from cancer. She was under a great deal of stress, and it is a proven fact that stress is harmful to the body in multiple ways. I'd like to say that I appreciate homesteading channels a lot. Aside from learning, most show a team ethic between spouses, with respect being a priority. It hurts my heart to see a man (or woman) belittled despite all his work. Society is ruining the family. Miah's got me BAWLING 😭 my dad passed this past March. He was 68 and hadn't taken care of his health for many decades. I'm 33 and have no dad. My kids no longer have their grandfather. Miah just reminded me of how important it is that I quit smoking 😭 thank you, Miah. I needed to hear this today 🙏

If you don't quit on the first try, then keep trying until it sticks! My mom was a lifelong smoker, and the last 8 years of her life she fought bladder cancer (from smoking), having a urostomy after losing her bladder, COPD, Emphysema, and heart disease. It was heartwrenching to watch my sweet momma suffer for years, and finally die struggling to breathe. She was always a generous and active woman, and her poor health stole the ability to be those things in her later years. You don't have to have that fate. Prayers for you to be strong.

Wow. Miah's encouragement was a wonderful thing. Not only for dad's but for us mum's that often wonder. Last night was the first time i had seen my son in 3 weeks. Was wonderful. I also said to him that i was going to ask his GF for a couple of $ for petrol as i am picking her up for work. (Last to get her licence) . He sent me over double what i was going to ask for. This morning i looked at the comment he made on the transfer. It said, "I'm a sugar son". It made me laugh and cry at the same time.
