If you think the Americans are obsessed with their flag, come to Denmark. We decorate our houses with them on birthdays, busses wear flags on holidays and royal birthdays, most places have flagpoles for the same purpose, we even decorate our Christmas trees with flags. We like our flag.

I feel like Kunekune pigs deserved a mention, they're far more unique than some pigs with a bit of white on them. They're a lot more friendly than other breeds and they're very gentle with piglets which is a rarity, they're the only grazing pigs in the world (them and derived breeds), they were developed by the Maori of New Zealand and they're so unique that we're not sure whether they were derived from European pigs or Asian pigs, they have wattles which are only found elsewhere on Polish pigs but they're definitely not derived from them.

I've got two Ayam Cemanis. They're quite cool. And they are, indeed, all black. I have a black, non-ayam cemani bird and there are definitely a few visible traits on her that have color to them. The Ayam Cemani's look kind of smokey when the light shines on them. Their eggs, however, are just standard chicken egg brown.

I love chickens and Simon Whistler, so I clicked on this video. Through the video, I was like, "cool, neato." then came the double nosed dogs and somehow they freak me out. Dogs wiggle and scrunch their noses a lot, and just picturing these double noses twitching in different directions is nightmare fodder for me. People always seem to be amazed at the crazy creatures "invented" for sci fi and horror movies, and I'm always thinking they ain't got nothing on Mother Nature.

While a red hog with a white belt is not really that unusual, if you Google up an imige of a Mangalitsa, Im sure youll be impressed with just how bizarre they appear. Another unusual breed is the Red Waddle.

Bighorn sheep. Longhorn is a type of cow endemic to the southwestern US. If you remember the movie trope about "Steers and Queers" (with apologies to my LGBTQ+ readers), they are referring to these. Coincidentally, Ram (formerly Dodge) have a related trim package on their pickup trucks. Outside Texas it is called the Bighorn Package (the Ram logo is a bighorn sheep), in Texas it is called the Longhorn Package. Because Texas. HOOK 'EM!!!
