She tells him to seize his youth & don't end up like her!

You will see them want to talk to some one, any one who will talk to them. This is where we are all headed. You have to plan your life. in the very first point, if you read the original Grimms fairtales, all those "princesses" died miserable and alone. Disney came in and make them fun for children, and modern women grew up holding on to those lies. the original moral of those stories are DONT wait for your "prince to come" because it ends in tears. This is the wisdom of thousands of generations past that got discarded and ignored in less than 100 years.

So many choices. Life goes on well beyond the youth phase. The 30-year-old is soon 40. Single at 40 does not feel at all like single at 25. Losing one's job or caring for an aging parent feels very different when you have no spouse to help. If your health falters, you get to be house bound all by yourself. A loving spouse is part of a team. With a spouse some things are simple fun like gardening or going for a walk together. The 10 years from 20 to 30 is maybe 15% of a normal lifespan. And then there is having children. There is nothing else like that joy. Choose wisely.

"An average woman can get flown out be a top 10% man" is a foolish platitude. First, a 10% income man can't afford to fly women out. That would be more like top 1% of less. Women do more of the emotional labor in relationships because they kick Dad to the curb. Now the woman has to do 100% of the emotional labor. This study missed the mark. Women do not want to be told no. Women do not want to accept the consequences for their decisions. It will always be somebody (anybody) elses fault for all their failures. Women are broken and cannot be fixed.
@kc6810Күн бұрын
No, men tend to rely on a woman for emotional support. They don’t tend to do that with friends or even have many friends. Do they have relationships with their brothers or sisters, even? Women tend to cultivate a lot of relationships in their lives. Their husband doesn’t always provide emotional support. Men say they just want to come home and have peace. They don’t want to deal with a wife in need of adult conversation who’s been with children all day (in that traditional scenario). The kids might be a little crabby because they’re getting tired and they’re hungry at the time when dad gets home. Does he come home and tend to them and try to keep them calm so mom can make dinner? Or does he come in and yell at them to stop being brats and then everyone is worse off.

Nothing wrong with women embracing the single, independent life. It is a choice, whereas for many men it is all they are offered. The problem comes when in later days a change is desired. A change after "mid-life" in the mid-30s when growing up has come to an end and growing old is the increasing psychological factor. Embrace it, but only pain awaits if you cannot accept that choices in your youth have foreclosed choices for your future. Few, men or women, seem to face that if you have child at 40, and wish to nurture them at least till age 20, then you will be 60. You will be providing for a child instead of providing for your retirement. Hard truth in life, you will be let go from a job in your 50s most likely and struggle to replace it. Unless you own your means of production.
@zenden6564Күн бұрын
