One setting I like is callouts in chat, so if a team mate isn’t speaking or someone flashes up for a second, a lot of times there will be a callout in chat and you can see what’s going on

On the pc one, i agree. There is no need for all this fancy pc stuff just because you want better game quality. I dont go for 5 star quality that eats at my frames. I make sure that my average frame rate is good if not the best it can be. As long as i can tell whats happening with the quality and i have a good framerate, i am fine with the pc i have. Also for the self blaming one, i dont really do that and i know because i have been listening to myself. I have been blaming my crosshair placement, my lack of listening. I am also guilty of getting too greedy. Sorry for making you read alot but the point of this video is to point out our mistakes isnt it?

Its true that bad setup can hold u back a lot, but u can still do a lot with it, myself i got asc 3 and was only one game away from immo just on a 60hz laptop, i did upgrade to 240hz and it def feels easier to take gun fights but overall im pretty confident to say that ur gamesense and decision making can get u pretty far even with shit pc

It is only a day 3 of me playing valorant. I was unlucky to meet someone really toxic. They were fucking and being angry. It was a bit bad. And I dont know all the mechanics in the game yet so I didnt even knew how to mute that person. Or other things. I managed to climb from iron 3 to silver 3 on a 60hz monitor but recently upgraded to 240hz (my computer can run it and valorant is set to 240 max fps) but have not seen much improvement at all. Would this just be my current skill capping out or does it take time to adjust to a new refresh rate?

It's probably the skill cap, but eventually it should be easier to rank up with that refresh rate (given that your mechanics & knowledge are there to back you up)

@@SenaVL yes , it was in episode 7 before upgrading to 144hz , i peaked imo 1 with 60hz , currently imo 3 with the 144 hz there is a big diff on the mouse smoothness and enemy movement tracking tho with the 60 hz i would relay more on predicting the movement while now i can just see it for 60% of the time

If your movement is good enough it shouldn't happen. Even if you are very low elo, in dm-s you get diamond players or ascendants etc. i do play with them i used to check profiles and trust me if you wide swing on them they are often missing too. The key is that you should press one key at a time like A or D, strafe and stuff. But you can find great movement vids around. Sometimes they one tap but even TenZ miss bullets so

50 ping is playable, but 60hz can be rough. There are players who are able to succeed at a high level on 60hz but 144hz+ will definetly give you an advantage.
