I played the demo a few times through and decided i was going to buy it, i didn’t think much about the pop ups during the demo, the ones that say if you had the full game you would have got an achievement for this. I bought the game, loaded it up, went to start a new map, got about 8 achievements all at once for the things i did in the demo ( i played the demo a few times through as it had a time limit). Next day my gamer score was reset due to “cheating” 🙄

I have never been banned from a game but I have a friend that was banned from GTA Live because he had too much money. The accused him of hacking it and he was banned for a month until they realized all 1 million wasn't hacked. When I asked him why he had so much he said he had nothing to spend it on and people were getting banned for giving out money because some innocent people were banned for grabbing hacked money. Can't win sometimes.

I was once banned from a text-based game less than 30 seconds after making an account and logging in for the first time. Apparently the username I picked was very similar to an infamous troll they'd just recently had to ban. They'd apparently been banning his accounts as he made new ones as soon as they popped up since he was using a proxy to change IP addresses every time so couldn't IP ban him. I was just very unlucky to have made a new account that week, and picked a name similar to one of the accounts he had made while his repeat-banning was going on.

Diablo 3 requires that you are connected to the Blizzard servers at all times to play, even if you are playing single player mode. I was banned from the servers a few years ago because my account was hacked and things were done using my account that violated the TOS. In the e-mail I received informing me of the ban I was told that the detected activity that violated the rules had come from China. I live in the US and have never been outside of the country except for a single weekend I spent in Canada. At first I was told that the decision to ban would not be changed, but after a few weeks of exchanges I was able to get access to my account again, otherwise the game would have been unplayable. I then purchased a Blizzard authenticator to protect my account and have not had problems since. I never understood why they were going to permanently ban me when it was obvious my account had been hacked.

In Splatoon 2, Nintendo implemented a banning system for people who left in the middle of matches. The final nail in the coffin is that it counted disconnections through network/connection errors as leaving games. Insta-banned from a game's bug forum for being on my University's wifi. Apparently, having the same ip as someone else will get you banned. Can't even see or log onto the forum to tell them about the bug in their login....lol. They don't really think about you using public wifi to log into your account do they? Unfair Banning. I actually barely avoided one time on Maplestory, Korean MMORPG with 2d pixel characters. I was watching someone we'll call BattyCoder hover in air, suck up EVERYTHING on screen, drop the common junk drops in a pile and vanish to a different channel. I watched and took video of it as it was clear he was hacking. So I sent out a message using the proper channels detailing what I saw and tossed the video into the attachment section. Five minutes later, one of the Moderators (Guys in the white outfits and a Wizet hat) popped up, warped me into a white room and threatened to IP ban me for harassing BattyCoder. I logged the incident and emailed it video and screenshots to the Head office Email. I got an email the next day saying that the video I caught BattyCoder was legitimate and that the player would be banned immediately and that GMAlphonse would be disciplined about his actions... just took a month to get around to either event. Getting nearly banned for reporting hackers... that was disheartening. I did get banned on a Minecraft server. An admin was watching me find diamonds by spiralling up and down an island I created by dumping sand off a pillar of cobblestone and then start making a staircase out of cobble to get to the sea floor safely in the middle. Well the admin counted the blocks between spirals and set down a diamond block three into the ten blocks I would be cutting through. Of course since it was straight ahead, I hit the diamond block and was immediately banned for "X-ray" I appealed and offered to show them how I was finding the diamonds. The owner of the server took me up on the offer, reverted the area by a day and then took me into the land mass and said "Oh my god you nearly carved every stone out of this place. I can see where you stopped... and it was an admin that placed that diamond block right into a calculated path." The admin that did that did admit to another admin of what he did and that person gave the evidence to the owner who in turn found BadAdmin and demoted him to helper with ZERO powers. Not even fly like the other helpers had. And since I was the victim of a conspiracy, I was given half a stack (32) diamonds as recompense. But not counting that as a full on ban since it was less than 24 hours.

I once got a 48h suspension from Dota2 because a teammate of mine kept insulting everyone else on the team and I would tell them to stop insulting others and teach them instead. I chatted with a fellow casual player and we came to the conclusion that the person was a pro and was just using a new account so that they could get a better win percentage rate. Back in 2018 I got banned from BF1 for similar reasons as Spazmo. I was doing a C93 only challenge and on Ballroom Blitz, and I got 94 kills and only 2 deaths. Which then caused the Anti Cheat Software to kick in and get me banned. I sent her a friend request, and did not receive a response... (I can't complain or be surprised). The bottom line is... ... I sent out a friend request, and did not receive a response of any kind. My response... ... "whatever." I just continued playing as best as I could... even making it a point to REVIVE other players who were technically still alive, and needed someone else's help to be Revived, and continue playing. There is an animal in animal jam that legit does a fortnite dance. One time in a party, I got a warning for saying "What is that fortnite dance?" Saying it was "personal info".... ALSO YOU CAN GET BANNED FOR SAYING STRIPES CLUB IN ANIMAL JAM MIND YOU.

I've been banned from overwatch like 10 times for 6-24 hours because I'm "too good". such a poisoned game by the players reporting because their not good. if their KD is .35 then don't worry about what their reporting. their trash anyway
