The keepers on the cheapest saddle pad are designed to go around the girth point under the saddle flap rather than the d-ring like the Le mieux saddle pads x

I have a Roma rose pink saddle pad that is really good material, has some fleece underneath the front, bought for the same price of $40. You can get great saddle pads for a fairly cheap price!

I have an eco gold and I bought it used from my trainer, I don't know how long she had it or how often she used it, but it does slip when I jump which is disappointing for what it claims to be. Again, maybe my trainer used it often and the "grip" on the bottom wore off a little, but it does slip a lot (I often have to get off to move it forward in the middle of my ride). I absolutely love the Lemieux and have one as well

I have a saddle pad from ecogold, though it looks ”normal”. I really like it and I have had it for over 2 years now! It has been washed many times and still looks new. Though I live in Sweden and the climate is obviously not as hot as in Australia. Though it was really hot last summer and the ecogold saddle pad was literally the only saddle pad could use because of the heat.

ECP makes an xc pad very similar to Ecogold but it's less than half the price! I think it's about $90 on Amazon. I would recommend them! I have one and my saddle stays PUT. Love it!

The last one, the nonslippy one, actually had me worried. You can see her skin move and that Will also affect her fascie underneath probably in a negative way. Not sure.... Keep an eye on saddlesore of puffing up whenn using that ons. My guess it's neopreen on the underside.

My favorite saddle pads are the LeMieux saddle pads, and WeatherBeeta saddle pads. Those are the best. Although, I have a burgundy one that is just a square pad. It was like 50, so it’s pretty good.

The girth straps have velcro, you can pull them tighter! Just because they end where they do doesn't mean they can't be overlapped! 🙄🤦🤯

Try the Anky pads!! Really beautifull quality and about the same price range as le mieux, even a little bit cheaper here on the Netherlands. But What I prefer about them over the le mieux is that they are thicker, and therefore provide a bit more cushioning to the back!

Я согласна, что качества падов разное: материал, впитываемость, но вот скольжение, если в седле ерзаешь или раскачиваешься, пад не спасет. А последний - я такой похожий конкурный видела, полностью сетка и верхний и нижний материал. В магазине было указано - для чувствительных лошадей.
