Click bait is a grift. Its just a new con for the new age. Show a thumbnail and or title that's false. Get people views. Get a check from KZbin for views from a con. How is this allowed? How is this not a con and a crime. There is actual monetary exchange goin on. So it should fall under some form of crime. Rant over. So how is this clickbait? "Scientifically Impossibe"? Ya that's a stretch. "Scientifically Fascinating" would better suit the video. Nonetheless I found it very interesting. Though not a scientist and far easier to please.

So, what did the idiots do? Dumped tons & tons of dirty soot on the caps to melt them somewhat. Took plenty of pics too. Insane. I thought 500 yrs from now.... they'll say there must of been an explosion, a volcano, etc. Scientists baffled.... now they complain the ice caps are melting too much. Define irony. Signals do not xfer through earth and rock, guess you could send it attached to a cable of some kind, but once again pics of turbulent flowing water is not really going to tell you much and at some point betting even the cable would snap before it reaches its destination.

That was interesting to figure out. They all have scientific explanations. Hence no mystery. Still, all of these are fascinating places. And yes, if more people became scientists, we'd have a better understanding of our world. Also, scientists cannot lie; anyone who tries is found out very quickly because the hallmark of science is that it can be tested. That's why natural sciences work so well and pseudosciences fail left and right.

Neverending means a little bit different. There is for hours no moment with out lightning or different the whole time you see minimum one lighting, most of the time there are many lkightnings the same time. There is NO dark time, No pause, NO delay, it runs for 10 hours. And that is really unique, because lightning comes from tension, but where comes all these tensions from to create thousands of lightnings very night. Video at 9:07 shows it good. You don't need long time exposure, simply click and you have most of the time a few lightnings on your photo.

This is an amazing compilation. However, as a scientist, I find it a bit cringy how often in this video they cite radioactivity as a potential cause. Very few natural physical phenomena are due to radiation, but almost entirely chemical, electrical or thermodynamic. These processes can be extremely complicated though, so getting to the bottom of them is presumably very difficult.

Look it up. 7. Lake Karachi It's a radioactive lake, where's the mystery. 6. The tree of Casorzo Tree splicing is actually a very simple and common occurrence. The mulberry tree looks anything but healthy. 5. Kalachi The sleeping sickness is caused by carbon monoxide from the mine. 4. Circles of Namibia It is caused by termites, as 80-100% of the circles have them, and 100% of new circles have them. They are called grass fairy circles and they have also happened in Australia. They grow in circles because they originate from a point and expand from there. 3. The hum It's not just Taos, the hum happens all over the world, and can be caused by machinery or tinnitus. 2. Catatumbo storm The hot, moist air from the surrounding swamps causes the storm, which occurs 10 hours a day, 140 to 160 days a year, definitely not non-stop. 1. @@CoHigh Exactly. Science, in the grand scheme of things, is still brand new and that's why theories are being learned and changed and revisited all the time. Theres new forms of "science" itself being discovered all the time. My first degree was in exercise science. I no longer know if this is true but 10 years ago that was the newest form of science in existence - before that exercise and everything that goes along with it was essentially nothing more than a hobby to anyone who had interest. So little is known about it and thats why this years healthy habits become next years stay-aways and vice versa. Well the same goes for the oldest science in existence as well. Were nowhere near ultimate knowledge of all things universally. Nobody knows everything. There is still plenty to learn and many theories, even hundreds of years old beliefs, are still being debunked. I explicable at the moment? Maybe so. Someday will it be figured out? Of course if there's enough need to put in the time and effort. We as human beings have enough intelligence that all things are possible, however I'm sure that even our great, great, great, great grandchildren will still be figuring out mysteries that we havent even considered yet because we JUST AREN'T THERE YET. The piece on Devil's Kettle is highly misleading. Quoting from wikipedia: "However experiments conducted in late fall 2016 and announced by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in February 2017 strongly indicated that the disappearing water simply flows back into the Brule River shortly below the falls. At the suggestion of state hydrologist Jeff Green, two DNR experts measured the water flow above the falls and several hundred feet below them. The two readings were virtually identical, suggesting no water was being lost to some other outlet.[14] They accounted for the failure of visitors' floating objects to reemerge by explaining that the powerful currents in the kettle's plunge pool would be enough to hold down most material until it was pulverized.[15] Green and a colleague planned to conduct a dye tracing experiment in the fall of 2017 when water flows dropped again, with the hope of determining where the underground channel rejoins the main river. They were discouraged from doing so by park management and decided that the dye experiment was not scientifically necessary to confirm that the water simply rejoins the river below the falls.[16]" So no, there is no mystery here, and no dye was actually used.
Surprised Lake Baikal wasn’t on here. It’s the largest freshwater lake by volume in the world, containing 23% of the world's fresh surface water, which is more than all of the Great Lakes combined. It also has over 1,000 species of plants and animals that aren’t found anywhere else in the world.

#8 The Sleeping City of Kalachi "Now the mystery has at last been solved and the cause does indeed lie in the uranium mines, said Kazakhstan’s deputy PM, Berdibek Saparbaev. After analysing the results of medical examinations of all the residents, researchers concluded that it was caused by heightened levels of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in the air. “The uranium mines were closed at some point, and at times a concentration of carbon monoxide occurs there,” Saparbaev said. “The oxygen in the air is reduced accordingly, which is the real reason for the sleeping sickness in these villages.” Evacuation of the two villages has begun, with authorities reportedly relocating 68 of 223 families so far."

@jordan_roadhouse47985 жыл бұрын
@@heidig.3054 I ask because how would it be possible? Lol! And just because it was in the thumbnail, it doesn't mean it real. It's an example of something that would be strange. As well as something to get you to click.

Little disappointed that the thumb nail you used was not in the video. This is misleading. For this I give a thumb down.

I thoroughly concur! It's bloody annoying that these people do such things....faking some other-worldly phenomenon (perhaps meant to resemble the biblical parting of the Red Sea!) to sucker us all in -- but which is, in actual fact, some tacky sequence of CGI....You broke our trust right there....:(

There’s no need for it. All it does is ensure that I dont watch anything else from this channel.

They could’ve used the stillshot of the Venezuelan storms as a thumbnail. That in itself looks mystefying enough to click on this video but of course clickbait.
@cherisola4165 жыл бұрын
The thumbnail looked like someone unchecked the overwrite world edges option when enlarging a minecraft world.

Oh it is, but it's just the wording that is goofy, like about the storm that is "everyday, 260 days a year"

For starters, the thumbnail is clickbait. That tends to piss people off.
