Books are the best containers for information and they've changed my mindset for the better. I compiled all my favorite self development books into one video and separated them into 4 categories: Productivity, Socializing, Confidence, and Awakening. I also provided time stamps so you can flick to whatever book that tickles your fancy~ Which one would you wanna read?

3 necessary skills for personal development: 1. GROWTH mindset - get away from the "fixed mindset" where you are afraid of getting out of your comfort zone. 2. STAY CALM - learn how to de-stress yourself and de-escalate a tense situation 3. RESILIENCE - learn to bounce right back: learn from your mistake and try again.

I can't help but to stumble on how you (potentially) opposed being social and introvert. Being introvert and social are not opposites, but many people think they are, which is why they are so confused as to how I can both be introvert _and_ social. Introverts generally socialize in a different way and appreciate deeper connections, which is why they might not connect as well with very extrovert people who charge their batteries by being on and by socializing with many people, even just for brief moments. The difference between being introvert and extrovert does not lie in socializing - it lies in the way people charge their batteries (and with whom). That being said, this video just gave me a few more books to put on my To Read List (which just keeps growing after your book videos hahaha)
@Wra8h3 жыл бұрын
Yes!! I personally just can't spend long periods of time with people and little time with myself while most people I know find it the norm to want to be around people all the time. I crave connections and I love being social in my own way on my own terms.

My first trip I finally got to see outside myself, and legitimately see myself as beautiful and really mean it. The book that helped me is called 'God never blinks' by Regina Brett. It is made of 50 lessons for difficult situations in your life and for me who has just truly started the journey of self-acceptance and self-love it has helped so much. It just makes you relise that life really can be beautiful and sometimes so simple. It made me feel comforted so I really recommend it. Thanks Jen for a great video and your hair looks beautiful. Much love from Croatia😊
