I love ankle boots, pointy toed ballet flats, and bold oxfords. I also wear sleek sneakers. I would wear a wider range of styles, but I have very bad problems with my feet. It’s very difficult to find shoes I can walk 5 minutes in.

I'm the same. there comes a time when we get older that we have to choose between comfort and style, but there's a way in between, I found, even if we have to put a little bit more effort on dressing :)

I love shoes I find a good pair of shoes can elevate simple clothes I dress very plainly no frills sparkles just cut well and I often make my own clothes or buy clothes and alter them but my shoes are investments I own some vintage shoes I have a beautiful Italian leather petrol blue strappy platforms from the 70's I love them I look after my shoes take them to be soled and heeled when they wear and I use good quality care products every Sunday I clean my whole collection of shoes it's very therapeutic ❤️🙏🇬🇧

Hi Silvana - I loved this video! I appreciated your initial comments about the importance of having practical shoes which ARE comfortable, are important for your health...that you don't compromise on that! Having the right shoes are such an important piece of any outfit! Over the years I've learned how crucial shoes are. Growing up my English grandmother would send a gorgeous outfit for me every Christmas and bring over an outfit every summer but in looking back I realized that the shoes were missing...and felt something was missing because I didn't have the right shoes...so the outfits didn't "come" together as they should. I loved your emphasis on the skin coloured shoes. I have grown my collection so that I have a pair of nude coloured pointed flats, casual sandals, strappy sandals, ankle boots, and knee high boots. As you mentioned the nude coloured shoes are lengthening. With these alone I have everything I need...but also have added in a few black shoes. And more recently I've added a pair of pointed red strappy pumps; red is my favourite colour and adds excitement to my neutral outfits. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us!
