Yes, a big secret miss!! Not all Costco's charge the same membership fees. Check around different cities and countries. Cards are honored no matter where they are obtained. The lowest price we found was in Mexico - memberships starting at $25!!

You can actually get paid to shop at Costco by Costco: their business membership card(which anyone can get) that you pay $100 a year for, actually gives you rewards back. Last year I made back $400 so i was basically paid to shop somewhere I already shop at anyway haha

I am A brand name person when it comes to things I use all the time. I have to say their diapers & wipes for babies/toddlers are my favorite! Out of all the known name brands I have used. The boxes have A great quantity & especially the wipes. You get over A thousand for A great price. If you have little ones & have not tried them, you should. The Kirkland brand is A great brand. 👍

there's no need to wait for any bell, some locations have an oven with a ringer and some do not, however every single chicken you buy is fresh out of the oven, once the chicken is fully cooked it is kept hot for a maximum of two hours and then disposed of, most of the time this does not even take place because of how fast they sell, but you can guarantee, regardless of any Bell it is always the hottest freshest and tastiest it will be.

The internet complaints about the quality of Kirkland dishwasher detergent seem to be misplaced. Consumer Reports rated the Kirkland brand tops. We've been using it for a couple of months now and find it to be first rate.

Sometimes the stew beef is tenderloin trimmings. It helps to tell the difference in looks between chuck and tenderloin. Chuck is best when it's braised for long periods but tenderloin doesn't have to be cooked as long and can also be sautéed or grilled.

Check out the time line on soda , when I was younger 50 years ago . A soda would last for ever really . But now soda last about 6 to 9 weeks then it tastes like crap with lest taste if any . Write about it . Please

We don’t have CostCo in Latinamerica but we do have Pricesmart which is very similar even selling Kirkland and Costco brands (plus same chicken, pizza, hot dogs at low prices) as the owner is one of the founders of Costco.

I would agree on everything except the Kirkland Premium Dishwasher Pacs. They do great on everything except for our silicon cooking utensils. I _always_ have to rub them under running water to get the detergent off, even when I’m sure the rinse aid dispenser was topped off prior to running the washer.

We buy a lot of Kirkland brand items from Costco during the month and enjoy the value and quality. T. P. , P. T. , Coffee, Frozen Foods, Dairy, Household goods, Clothing, Holiday “EVERYTHING!”, Etc. Have had a membership since the early 1980s.

Having worked for the sample company, I will say that the bell sound to signal fresh rotisserie chickens is false. The ovens are digitally updated to where it has more of an electronic tone for when the cook is done and can only be heard from at most 10 feet away. The loud bell actually signifies that the back cooler door has been left open for an extended period of time and that the cooler is getting warmer. It’s an audible to let employees know that the door needs to be shut, not that fresh chickens are coming out

Some good info. But. Nix on the Kirkland bacon. Poor quality not even as good as Aldi. Inconsistent quality. For a bit more, I used to buy Curtis bacon from Costco. It was MUCH better, but just as many other items, Costco wants me to buy their brand, not a better one at a similar price. Maybe Curtis wouldn't pay them for cooler space. And nix on the Wall Mart produce section. Wally is continually out of stock for a lot of items throughout the store, all the time. When Wally actually has an ageing bundle of spring onions; you can buy more than twice as much, fresh, for less than Wally, at Aldi. Sigh. You just can't buy all your food (or anything?) at the same store. For me Aldi, then Costco, then Sam's, then the local Taj-Ma-Teeter(Harris-Teeter).

You can also use the Costco, Sam's, or BJ's pharmacy without a membership. The pharmacists area awesome, and their prices are often much lower than other pharmacies, so check them out. They'll also do next day delivery for drugs they don't keep in stock.

Soda prices are controlled by Coke or Pepsi and retailers do not have control of this. Make sure your info is accurate. Just watch ads. They run specials by store. i.e Dollar General will have a sale because the soda company determines that by contract

Costco sells a TV installation service that flat out doesn't do what it states : @t . Read the item description carefully, includes installation for any tv up to 100 inches on any wall - except thats not true. Read the second sentence in the last bullet - any TV upto 45 inches, with an extra $50 charge if you can't/wont help the installer. I don't feel comfortable helping to install my new 85" TV, and I expected that Costco's description was accurate. In fact after going back and forth with Costo's supervisor team, and Handy's staff, two 'professionals' were scheduled to install my TV. Only one showed up. Costco seems to be selling a product description that just doesn't match the product. Handy has been profoundly unhelpful, blaming both Costo, and myself. There wasn't even a way via customer service, nor their website to actually schedule a second person. Costco management had to get involved, and that still didn't fix it. Costco is falling far short both in the fake product description itself, and the effort that havn't put into resolving the problem.
