I actually loved Sheamus, Rusev, and Barrett as a trio. They just had great chemistry. Del Rio was like adding oil to water.

Del Rio is undoubtedly an asshole but the dude could go in the ring and played his heel character perfectly he wasn't a wasted addition to the group he actually fit really well

I loved The League of Nations so much too as Alberto was the fit slim straighten player of the group and I consider Sheamus, Rusev and Del Rio the main trio, while King Barrett was the newest recruit to all fours for making the kingdom for them.

It's weird to think the Shield was only around for maybe 2 years but its argueably the most influential stable right now
@mitchellima7548
@mitchellima7548 8 ай бұрын
Not only are they the most influential faction of the last 15 years in North American wrestling(only the bloodline is even really close imo) they were also just really good, even in a time we’re wwe was at a relative creative low.

That’s because all 3 members were main event material even back then the WWE management saw their potential especially Triple H at least for Seth and Roman Roman was their first choice but when he wasn’t getting over with fans before WM31 Seth was given the go ahead for the cash in and cemented his spot in the main event Roman of course now is in his legendary part of his career as for Dean he admitted himself in a talk is Jericho years ago that the WWE system isn’t for him and how he was treated on the way out made it where he would never come back and he has AEW now and has been a world champion there so yeah all 3 did reach their potential in under 10 years
@MasterOfViewership
@MasterOfViewership 8 ай бұрын
actually, the Bloodline is nowhere close to the Shield. Sikoa has no character, the usos are mid-card at best and Reigns is a wimpy coward. As for the Shield, they never shied away from competition, all 3 could speak for themselves and didn't rely on constant interference to score the W and all could handle the main-event@@mitchellima7548

*The Hurt Business should have been on the list. I was so invested into this group and they one of the best things during the pandemic era. Two years later and I am still fumed of how the company decided to split up the group just right before WrestleMania 37. Way to go WWE, way to go. SMH.*

I'm certain The Hurt Business kept breaking up so that Bobby Lashley couldn't get too big and overshadow Roman Reigns. It also ties in to Lashley never being allowed to get back the title he never lost, and the two never being onscreen for similar shows. So each time Lashley and the Street Profits spin their wheels for another week, it's just more of the same.

1.The League of Nations AND The Un-Americans both lacked a Charismatic KINGPIN to put them over the top 2. All the Great Stables in Wrestling have to have an undeniable CHEMISTRY about three of the entries on your list Didn't have that. If you watch the Magnificent Seven era WCW creatively was on the up. There were some shortfalls (it was WCW afterall) but the overarching creative was solid, with Steiner taking out most of the top faces (except Goldberg, that was a Russo hangover no one had a work round for) building up to either a big return for them all or a star making moment for the guy to finally beat him. Sadly the creative of the Russo era was atrocious and it seemed that that's what was presented to Turner execs when they enquired where all the money was going. I don't know if the company would have been competitive again but they would at least have looked respectable. Although with all the fans they ran off they may still have struggled.
