Hi, very nice! What would you recommend for a full shade (no light) area in zone 8 (Pacfic NW)? Prefer to be evergreen grows to 5-8' and can use as an foundation shrub- up against the house. Thanks Mike

If you are a beekeeper, honey made from mountain laurel tastes terrible but doesn’t harm the bees.

@@catchygarden7378 American Linden is a great replacement for Mountain Laurel. Bees love them and the honey is great! A full grown Linden will typically produce as much pollen as an acre of golden rod for example. Linden is also known as Basswood.
