What i hate about my crush is that she was very into me for like 4 months (August to December), wanted me to begin at her gym, wanted to have "taco evenings", going out to restaurants ETC. I talked to a girl friend about a crush I was having. My crush was pretty, very nice and sometimes flirty. But she was mentally ill and would sometimes disappear for a week because she struggled with depression and anxiety. I told my friend that this girl would totally be my type is she was healthy. That was after 2 months of chasing her and finally concluding that she wasn't ready for what I was looking for. My friend then said that it is ok to be friends with someone even if you have feelings for them. I thought that was good advice and my former crush is now one of my best friends. We still flirt but I know what to expect, not a girlfriend but a friend. We even go on dates once a month or so but we have both agreed that it would be unwise to try a relationship. Exactly because she isn't mentally available. So I date other girls. Maybe I find a match some day.

Well...with a co-worker of mine, she definitely opened up about her personal life. She was a bit of a bully to me. Guys if you like a girl and want to date her, tell her, don’t live by if her actions, think of it like approaching a random girl, 99% of the time unless you like Henry Cavill, she won’t show interest, you just do it, and live with the results. You being vulnerable and confident in sharing and going for what you want could be the one thing the creates the initial attraction.
