Not so sure about it that. The one I dated said he liked me during our 1st date & then as time went on & after he got to know most things about me, he lost interest, dissipated & no more connection whatsoever. I think I was a rebounder cause he may have still had ties with his previous ex gf who he prolly was separated or broke up with at that previous time.
@melanierobson33363 жыл бұрын
I dated a man for 3 months. Told him I didn't feel like my feelings for him were where I felt they should be at by that point and I was sorry but I didn't think it was working out. He cried. A few weeks later he messaged me and said he really liked me and asked me to give him a second chance, because he thought he could open up more. He invited me to come spend the weekend with him in Toronto. I laughed and said you just want to get into my pants. He paused and said don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not saying I wouldn't enjoy that, but I just want the chance to get to know you better, I think we could be good together. So I went. A year later I married him 🙂 ❤

It means we are not valuable to her, first of all, and no value = no respect; it also means we are replaceable, thus, we also will move on to a better option. And second, we are not interested in competing for her affection with other guys in her "options" list because trophies make poor girlfriends.

I had a very similar situation for a few years in my early twenties while in college. My ex would have his younger sibling tag along too. My ex claimed his sibling wasn't straight, not that it mattered. But feeling like a third wheel became quite tiresome. He was also hot and cold. He brought up the subject of marriage and children early on as well. My ex and I were in our twenties so, there wasn't a need for a damn chaperone. My grandmother and some of her neighbors thought it was strange that my ex and his sibling would come over. My ex had a problem being "a man of his word." Chivalry was pretty nonexistent.

Another thing not mentioned is he or she could be a narcissist or covert narcissist. These people will act extremely interested at first, and shower you with attention (love bombing). Then, once they've hooked you, they start acting cold and distant. You start to freak out and try to make them treat you the way they once did. You become desperate to make them like you again. Ladies (and fellas) this is called trauma bonding. You're literally a game to them. They do not have good intentions. Don't mix yourself up with these kinds of people because they do not change and they do not care about you.

He keeps saying "what if I wanted something serious now" but doesn't make any moves. He says he likes me but there is something about me that feels like he is lying and continuing with him isn't correct. He is also 16 years older than me..im 26 and he is 42. Do you think its best to walk away at this point as much as it hurt me to let go? Im confused. :(
@a.s17835 жыл бұрын
Well done. Absolutely fantastic. And in the future. Unless you both can feel eachother. Only give a guy a total attention for 1-3months max. If after 3 months he's still not putting in. Then thank yourself that you didn't waste month 4-6 or the rest of your life. 5years is way too much. Don't beat yourself up about it as you just did not know what to do in that time. Just think thanks that you suffered for a short period than the rest of your life. Now you need to heel. So go and heel you self. Be happy. And always remember if a person knows that they are doing wrong to you and they are still doing it. Then karma is a bitch and it will 100% get him in this life time. It may not be in the way you want. But karma is energy so what every energy that he was playing then the same energy will hit him in a different scenario. Now you need to go to the gym, go on holiday, change somthing about yourself. Achually change somthing about yourself and do it well so that you feel superconfident. BTW. I'm a man. So you go for it. And welldone.

It will show him that you were not messing around and it will make him think and regret loosing you.
@cynthiaurugutia7365 жыл бұрын
@@a.s1783 In these 11 months of "dating him" it has been him who has made the "effort" to ask to see me. He is the one that always texts me first. I have not slept with him either. He knows perfectly where I stand with regards to sleeping with him. I told him straight up that if he was expecting to get the "kitty" then he was just going to lose his time trying to get it. He got angry the third time I told him that (because throughout this entire time I have emphasized that matter and he felt like I was always assuming things about him) and he said not to contact him ever again. A week after he messages me as if nothing had happened and he told me that " we both knew we wanted each other." I decided to go on a date after that and he told me "what if I told you I wanted something serious this time around" (the reason he said that is because when we first started dating he said he didn't want anything serious like a relationship and it wasn't important to label everything that quickly). That comment left me confused thinking that maybe he does want something serious. A few weeks passed after that date and he insisted on seeing me. Finally this past Sunday I accepted to see him again. On Sunday he told me that he does like me but unfortunately Im leaving abroad (I had to make up that lie that I would be moving abroad to see if maybe he would step up the game and confess to me what he really feels or to fight for me the least). But still he doesn't make any moves not even because I have "a few months left".......I can't get him past the "I really do like you" phrase. Is it all a game to eventually get me to sleep with me before I "supposedly" leave. Why do you think he stuck along with me this long after knowing that I won't sleep with him. On Sunday he even asked me what I thought about the idea of taking a weekend trip or a getaway trip. Do you think that "trip" and question is the excuse to finally get me to sleep with him to later dispose of me. What would you suggest or recommend? Apologies for this long story of my life. Im just confused.

"I'm not ready yet" actually means "I'm not ready for you." So the moment a Man finds a woman that he's actually ready for he will definitely go for it, even if he was already halfway toward working his way with another woman. The propensity to follow the path of least resistance isn't just a law of physics. Sometimes women simply price themselves out of the market. Men will always stay with what they can afford. A plumber will never ask a doctor out, and if by some miracle he is dating a doctor he will settle with a waitress the instant she becomes available to him.

@@Adam-cc9ny thanks for the reply. Does your analogy mean I was too good for him, he was not good enough for me? Or I still dont get it?
@Adam-cc9ny5 жыл бұрын
@@allisond5669 It is very possible. You will not believe how clumsy men are at walking away from women especially if she is better than him. At least today I have noticed that one of the main reasons most guys turn away from girls is when they find out she is just too good for him. Other times it's because another sneakier woman of lesser value sees her chance and lures him away. For some reason women of low value target men who are with better women. I've kinda noticed this pattern since I am in a committed relationship with what they perceive as a highly educated, independent, strong career woman that is way out of my league. Suddenly all these girls who knew me in college who thought that I was beneath them are now friendlier but in a phony ass way. So in your case it's very possible that he just didn't feel good enough for you and settled for a "lesser woman" that was more in his league.

They buy a happy hour drink or two for a woman and sleep with her- they just got sex for under $20. Make these men pay for an escort at $600 a session if they want commitment free sex.

Truth!!! I met a guy at my friend's wedding and we hit it off right away. We were texting non-stop, but lived in different cities. Finally he was going to drive into town to take me on a date...or so I thought, he called me beforehand and confirmed it wasn't a real date because he wasn't ready for a relationship. I was young and naive and didn't know that I should have taken that at face value and not read into every mixed signal he gave. 9 months later I ended it...heartbroken. Save yourself for someone who treats you like his number #1 person ladies.

Suddenly now he really changed. Listening and applying this video is so worth it. And it's true if they're interested they will be the one to find a way to get the conversation going. Some of us also look up "signs he’s into you," and only end up here because there is a single box that is left unchecked. In other words, some of us are just catastrophizing over a guy who is genuinely into us because their score is only close to perfect and not utterly perfect. So calm your tits.

Really good advice. Guys can be confusing because they can show some interest even if they are not really very interested, and it is because, like you said, they like having options. I think this is where a lot of women go wrong and stick around for much longer than they should.

I grew up surrounded by alot of boys, so I have in many ways I have a 'boy brain'. You're the first and only online dating coach that makes any sense to me. Love your straightforward approach and honesty. You've not said anything I don't 100% agree with yet. Keep up the great work and good on you for trying to lift women's self esteem and stop them tagging around like puppy dogs (cute enough, but you don't want to sleep with a puppy or marry one). Also my mum taught me the most powerful thing a women need know and it's very simple "If a man is interested in you, you will know". That's it! No need to ever chase a man. That's their job so let them DO IT!

A lot of people (who are replying to this video) do not realize something. Women who date guys who are not into them 99% of the time came from families who also did not treat them well, either dysfunctional, alcoholic, co-dependent families and it IS NOT because they are stupid. The trick here is to get help to realize you are perfectly fine without a guy and a guy can never validate your self worth. Much easier said than done when your model of love is based on being loved at any cost due to this family dynamic. So take heart, it's not you, it's your upbringing that's formed this unfortunate situation. Sending you all love and kindness.
@elliec13454 жыл бұрын
Sooo true Robin. And if you haven't observed your parents in a loving relationship than how can you know yourself what to look for. Further if your father or mother hasn't treated you with respect than that is what you have become used to and therefore don't demand it from a future partner. It is literally something unknown to you. Your self worth has been damaged. It takes a lot of learning and observance to break free of these beliefs because they are insidious - you've learnt these lessons at such a young age, they become part of your emotional makeup.

I had a guy that I developed a crush on...he was showing a lot of positive signs that he was interested and flirted some. But he never took the initiative to ask me out...so I have a stop loss policy. After about 5 months I decided I no longer wanted to have a crush on him and focused on the fact that I wanted a partner that I didn't have to lead into the next step. My crush on him went away. I disappeared from his social circle for a few months and when I appeared again he seemed to try harder. He even invited me out to a group social...but that's not what I'm looking for...so he is friend zoned and I'm good with that lol.

"If I feel" - so, you could be reading a situation wrong and making assumptions, but you're willing to act on them instead of just asking how he feels like an adult? It makes you come across as bitchy and immature. Just ask him how he feels and point out what he isn't doing that you would like him to do. Why all the silly games?
@adday.4 жыл бұрын
@@njhawksworth1588 Not the one you're asking but you have no idea how vulnerable women become and how we do not have a filter. So showing your hand to a man could break and have him reject us would wound us for a long time. When a man show his hand to a woman I feel he still has a filter and is not vulnerable in doing it quite as much as women. Women attach so easily and therefor take rejection harder. I am 40 and this is what I've seen and know. Yes, I could say "hey mister, do you want me or not?" to the man I crush on now, but if he rejects me, I am wounded like a 14 year old girl. We are emotional in a way men can't grasp.

@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
Hey Angelica! Nice to see you again! I totally see where you're coming from. The only thing I would throw out there is that not everyone has the best relationship with their parents, so them not introducing you to them wouldn't be a priority anyway. And sure, that might be a whole other separate thing one could take issue with if a bad relationship with his parents is a red flag. But, if you're getting the introduction to friends at 3 months, that's a pretty solid progression I'd say 🙂
