Thank you for useful videos! Can you explain "dropfoot"? I experienced my left foot went numb for weeks and had to push it into my shoe.. Fortunately the sense came back. I had an operation in my ankle joint a few years earlier. I've still got 3 screws there. I'm otherwise healthy and normal weight.

Thank you kindly, Dr. Ekberg. You have helped motivate me to see a doctor very soon. I have intermittent symptoms I should call an ambulance for, but anxiety hinders me from going. I need to just go! I keep having this paranoid feeling doctors want to hurt me, so I keep delaying going. None of my symptoms are indicative of good health, and there are a plethora of them that cause me to experience increasing anxious thoughts. Logic, and my body tell me "Warning! Go right now!", but feelings cause me to be afraid to go. Have a wonderful day! ☺️

@@Lili-tt2ks It's essentially Keto, Paleo/Caveman. General avoidance of grain with abundant consumption of grass-finished meats/wild-caught seafood/pasture raised eggs along with organic vegetables. Also most but not all fruits are ok too in moderation. You cannot eat endless portions of fruit because while natural, it still has sugar in it, which will have effects on your insulin levels.

I had a small stroke in June this year (left sided brain bleed) and had most of these symptoms. I've never smoked, have very little alcohol, was very fit, well hydrated, had a healthy, green diet but was about 1.5 stone overweight even with regular exercise. I quickly recovered by pushing myself to do a lot brain exercises and built up to long walks in the countryside. Its September now and I'm starting to ride my bicycle and litter pick in my local area. We can stay healthy by being active no matter what age we are.

Hey, don't take it as all bad. Every time a troll nags someone there is a teachable moment. Dr. Sten was able to use that trolls negativity to explain a very important point about how understanding things is important and what no being able to understand does to us psychologically. Fear of the unknown/misunderstood is a very powerful driver of humans and their reactions. It was good to be addressed and shows well on Dr. Sten for having done so!

I'm one of the new ones on this channel. Came across this channel two weeks ago, and I'm two weeks into a 18:6 intermittent fasting :) ;) I had already cut sugars completely, and carbs as well, but I was still huffing and puffing on that treadmill, getting no results. Trying to find out why that was, I found this channel, and there have been so many aha!-moments, and so much un-learning of the nonsense we were taught in schools in the 80s and 90s (and probably still today). No wonder Ekberg has a boom in subscribers. He's educating us all :)
@LR-je7nn
@LR-je7nn 3 жыл бұрын
I have noticed that several of the doctors I watch have huge increases in subscribers in the last year or two. I attribute that to the stress from locking people down, masking and scaring the krap out of people over a virus that kills 2 in a 1,000. It's no secret that a few rich, creepy people want to greatly depopulate the world. I'm 73 and believe I had the virus in February of 2020. I doubled up on my vitamin D3 and turmeric, ginger and black pepper and garlic and was better in four days. Either that or whatever they are spraying on us from Scott Air Base in Illinois killed the virus.
@miavos3610
@miavos3610 3 жыл бұрын
@@LR-je7nn I'm going on 72 and also concentrate on what you are doing - building up my immune system. If I get the virus, my body will handle it. If my body fails to handle it, I will die at home. No healthcare worker will blame me for being overworked.
@LR-je7nn
@LR-je7nn 3 жыл бұрын
@@miavos3610 You know Mia at our age we have probably had a SARS virus very similar to this one and we survived it. Like you said the key is in building up your immune system. Some very intelligent researchers believe that the real danger will show up in a couple of years in those people who get the shots. I tend to believe them instead of the FDA and the drug companies. We had season tickets to the St Louis Cardinals baseball games. My grandpa went to the seventh game of the World Series and came home and died in his sleep that night. He had a very good life. Yep, that's what I want too. But I am not sure it will be in the United States the way things are looking.

If I was to call him a "fear monger" - it would have to do with one thing alone: I'd be unwilling to change or improve my food intake... We should be thankful for any health and food information that doesn't originate from the global food and pharma mafia. "fear" is a personal problem of reality denial or being unable to focus on a matter in a constructive way. Don't let fear take you over in the face of something that may or may not be dangerous - looking away is the source of fear. Look into it and understand it.

I swear there are times I think of unsubscribing to all the other health channels I follow and stick with Dr. Ekberg only. With all the conflicting information out there, eventually one has to "pick the winner". As time goes by, Dr. Ekberg keeps coming out on top and that's saying something because I follow many of the most popular others out there. Love this guy.

Thank you for sharing. I have most of the symptoms you mentioned in this video and then some.. I have Chronic Lyme Disease and multiple co-infections. I have been struggling with this for over 20 years. My current Doctors are wonderful and doing what they can to help me. Every day is a struggle, but I am grateful for every day I am allowed to continue to live. If it's not asking too much then I am hopeful that I can ...maybe... have more days that are...what I vaguely remember... as "normal." I used to be very athletic, high energy, and (as my big brother used to say) have the memory of an elephant. These days, I have Dory brain, insufficient energy, and a whole bunch of problems. It can be depressing. This Disease robbed me of my youth. God willing, I can salvage at least. some of my life. I look forward to sharing this with my Doctors. They may already know this...but I am going to share it any way. Thank you. Here's hoping...

4 months ago I had an acute appendix. Sudden nausea, then vomiting all night, pain in the stomach. In the morning brought to the hospital by a neighbor - infusions, blood samples - allegedly food poison. next morning, another doc did the typical release tests on the abdomen. immediately computed tomography and 3 hours later operation. it was a minute to twelve. about 6 weeks before this story i had a constant sweat, but at my age, 65, i never thought of an ulcerated appendix. I actually felt safe with the keto diet.

Thank you Dr Sten. Love how you explain things in simple term easy to follow and understand. These days many doctors don't take the time to explain the root cause. They simply just prescribe their patient medicine. In and out as quickly as possible from their consultation so they can maximise their income from medicare.

Yes, but is it pure greed or simple ignorance? Or is it simply too difficult to convince most of your patients that a lifestyle change is necessary? I'm not a doctor or in the health care field, but look at it from their point of view. If one has lived all of this life one way, what are the chances he is going to suddenly see the light and change his life for the better? It's hard - and most of the patients don't want to or think they can't change. I'm 60 and this is my third attempt at improving my health via food choices and exercise. The first time I was 45 and it lasted a couple of years. The second time I was 55 and it lasted until a new high-stress job came along. Here we go again!

I am 69 years old...and started Keto in Sept 1st in 2022...... by January 2023 I lost about 70 lbs.... and my BMI was perfect for my height..... I listen to each video from start to finish and I attribute these achievements to those videos and maybe even listen to each of them a couple of times.......... Now coming up to the one year marker..... I am within a pound or two of my initial goal finish weight....... And believe it or not....... these were not even the best things that have happened..... My skin is smoother no fungus under my toenails...... Arthritis that used to bring me very close to tears (for years) is now really well controlled...and even being able to actually kneel down on my knees without the pain under my kneecaps.... Endurance is great.... and I am in my gym weekdays and relax on weekends. No sleep apnea...... heartburn....... I have almost exactly 18-120Sys and 78-80 Dia blood pressure on waking every day......pretty well without fail................ Then we get to the best things.... I LOVE food..... and my taste buds have got so sensitive...... and well cooked food lasts on my lips for hours... I prepare all food in advance by marinating good quality food............. I still fast for 48 hrs midweek...... and only eat OMAD.......... but I eat Keto cakes and Ice cream almost on a daily basis......... Keto was the best thing that could have ever happened to me........... and this guy is responsible for my success.
