Last year during a family vacation, I spent 4 weeks in a rural town. I ate very little most of the time but especially the last few weeks, 1-2 times a day but small healthy portions. No fast food, junk food, or pastries. I had no internet so I didn’t use my phone much (only photos). I went to sleep very early (right after sunset) and woke up early with the crowing roosters. It was pretty boring Lol Even my daughters noticed I looked younger, my eyes looked brighter, healthier, less sunken and my face wasn’t a bit saggy. My tummy wasn’t big or bloated. Stress, too much food and sugar, over using devices, not sleeping adequately definitely takes a toll on your health and overall appearance.

Might be just genetics too. My grandfather was roofing his house at 94yo and fell off and died. Had that not happened who knows how long he would have lived and keep working. My grandmother was 108 when she died. Took care of herself up to the last year when her vision started going bad. Neither of them did anything special other than farm all their life. An unprovable claim that her mother was 116 when she died. She also had 22 children. They worked like dogs all their life. So I believe genetics is more than given credit. They were too poor to have had anything else going for them.

agreed 100%. Eventually, this is the only mental resolution one can get. Since no matter what you do and how hard you try, eventually you're going to be old. Furthermore, it is quite often our feeling and conviction of being old that actually makes us older. For instance, people when asked if they want to do something adventurous or physically demanding will come up with the excuse that they are too old for it, even when they are actually not. Step by step, they do less and become crumbly and weary as a result because they are no longer used to such endeavors. This is how autosuggestion makes you older than you are. Not thinking about your age too much can keep you younger.

Aging is a mindset. The key is not to believe it or let Society or a church or the Vatican or man Made religion defined when you’re supposed to expire. The matrix in the constructible dictate when you expire. You just need to flip them the birdie. 🐥 need to tell him where they can take their aging and shove it with the sun don’t shine.

Thank you! Great info! Also I would like to say not allowing your body to always be comfortable is anti aging too. Like allowing yourself to get cold and skipping meals from time to time, (IF). Short bursts of running for a few seconds everyday also keeps the body a little younger. (You pretty much covered all that, but it's worth repeating lol)

Oldest person i've ever met was a 107 yr old woman that resided in the nursing home with my Mother..... I was in awe of her! She was Very SLOOOOW in movement but she could feed herself. I dont want to live that long if im not vital and get around on my own... im too independent!

My birth certificate says I am 65. I do not believe a word of it. I am aging backwards. The only arthritis I have is from sports injuries. I eat clean, work out & play hard. I refuse to get old. A certain family member says Im going to. That goes in 1 ear & out the other. Screw that mindset.

Hey from Scandinavia! I really like your videos and have used them as a guidance in fasting and nutrition. I lost almost 50 pounds with keto diet but at that point I wasn't mature enough to understand the real reasons behind the weight loss and therefore just got back to my bad lifestyle. Now I'm trying to get a more lifelong change to happen. One thing that has really caught my eye in your videos is that in the older videos like from the 2018 your skin seems to be in worse shape than in the later videos. Have you noticed that or do you have any explanation or change in your own diet or lifestyle that has made your skin look better/younger? You might have covered this already in some video but I haven't yet seen it.

There’s another component to the ageing process that in my opinion is underestimated. That is the role the mind play’s. A lot of people expect senescence and it effect’s them at a cellular level. It is not a trivial component, it is much more powerful than most people think! It is the negative component of the placebo effect!

Dr David Sinclair from Harvard has some great interviews and has written about treating aging as a disease. I have followed him for years and believe he is sincere in trying to help people live longer and live healthier. He is big on intermittent fasting, interval high intensity training, also taking Resveratrol and NMN/NAD+ supplements.

@Girl Sage NAD nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and NMN nicotinamide mononucleotide... he also said it’s important to keep it refrigerated and take it with protein. The hard part is finding a supplier that refrigerates it.
