As a 3rd year dental student and working at a dental clinic, I really must say: please stop using Baking Soda, lemon, vinegar, and hydrogen peroxide on your teeth... The enamel will take permanent damage within a short amount of time and I have seen some gruesome side effects. If you really want to have your teeth whitened, go to a dentist. Yes you'll have to pay more, than when buying a lemon. At least you won't ruin your teeth. There are limits to how white your teeth can get, and trying to push the boundaries by using acids and alkali will do damage :-)

Regarding small chippings, there's not much to do. If a dentist fixes it, he/she has to take off some of the healthy enamel and the tooth filling will most likely just chip off. Regarding whitening teeth without permanent damage there is no way. Even if you use the "nonperoxide" whitening gels you will still lose some of the outer enamel. The tooth gets more fragile no matter what - sadly. Which is why the most healthy way to be sure to have your teeth, when you get old is to accept the color of your teeth or only whiten for about 7-14 days in a row them once every year or 2 years. Chiraq DrumMag: I do know that. But no matter how you get it done, that will happen. I would rather have a dentist doing it, than some product I have bought on the internet and some short guide to have to do it yourself. There can be some problems with that method :)
