Its not rocket science my guy. I was am going for the first time tomorrow and I got to pick up a helmet, knee guards, and some wax. Maybe a few different wheel configs and generally a whole kit. I've been just skating for a year in my mid 30s and I only just got into tricks. I have multiple boards of different styles and I pick them to suit my days. I have a 44" zed longboard for surfing to and from work, I have a new wide strangelove board with fat skate wheels for easy power slides and I have an oldy but goodie first board which is suffering from razortail from my newbie days. I still can't Ollie clean but have my share of injuries to prove it. I am bringing everything to the skatepark including lock and chains to Lock myself inside the skate park. Good luck kicking me out when you can't get in LMAO. I counter their counter cause we can all easily climb the fence

A set of soft cruiser wheels. I swap wheels depending on how far I'm skating to somewhere. Also more water. I bring about 3 gallons of water with me to the park. I live in Louisiana, where the temps are high 90s and lower 100s during the summer but with the 85-94% humidity, makes the heat index over 110 at times. I literally soak all of my clothes down to my underwear and socks with sweat. I'm usually there all day because it's an hour and a half drive to the nearest park for me and I love skating transition and the bowl. I make it well worth it to spend from open to close only taking small breaks and a break for lunch.

The wheels I run are oj plain Jane wheels, they’re technically filmer wheels but I find they’re soft enough to ride long distance on shitty streets, and hard enough to pull off just about any trick. I keep a set of formula 4 101a wheels in my bag if I’m really getting down, but normally I stick with the softies

Honestly I could do this with my AK since it's a folding stock but I don't need to have my rifle at a skatepark. Even though I have a CCW, I don't carry when skating anyways because skating with a loaded weapon is just bound to end badly.

I would say, an ar-15 is too big, u can't put it into your bag very well. I think a smg will be a better choice. Personally I prefer a mp7, but it's up to your own preference.

There’s never going to be much variation in length, the width is more what you should look at. Starting out at 11 I would suggest 7.5 or 7.75 inches in width. But as you get older and taller I would suggest widening if you feel like you would benefit from it.

I have a question. Is it necessary to use bearing spacers, or is it optional? And wich brand do you prefer for the bearing cleaning thingy? (and I dont mean lubricant but the other stuff used to clean bearings) Essay by someone in the comments :D

The bearing spacers definitely have their uses, and they're especially important for downhill longboarding. But in 99% of situations in regular skateboarding, they aren't going to make much of a difference. So I'd say their optional (unless you like bombing hills, then I'd say use them so you can tighten down those axle nuts all the way). As far as bearing cleaning kits, I've only ever used the Bones cleaning kit, which is super convenient, but you don't necessarily need to use it, any plastic tupperware works just fine for swishing around the bearings too. this isnt something for a skate bag but if there's a water fountain or spout nearby and it's hot, soak your shirt, wring it out and put it on. depending on how much you wring it it'll actually last a while before it dries and keep you cool

We do, but we're unfortunately sold out. 😕 There's a nation-wide skate hard goods shortage right now because of Covid-19 and the shipping restrictions related to it. I use bronson g2's and the lube in them isn't as sticky as reds so id use bronson lube even on reds but make sure you put something that can the dissolve old lubricate on your bearings isopropyl alcohol works and if you have it WD-40 also works.

Bearings are bearings. Lube is lube. They just put it in different packets the only difference is how runny it is. I have about 20 pieces of machinery for landscaping and farming, I use the exact same chainsaw sprocket grease for everything small, and a grease gun from a bucket for everything large. These things rotate much faster in dirtier conditions than skateboard bearings, 8-10,000 rpm in mud for a brushcutter. That and WD40 will cover everything. Don't let manufacturers rip you off they all claim theirs is special magic stuff.

For skate tool, Independent makes a belt buckle that has everything on it. I have had it for years. The leather was garbage, but Duluth makes an exact fit for it, and Duluth has a lifetime guarantee on their items. Just a way to gain a spot in your bag. 👍🏼

I try to keep my bag smaller these days by just carrying the things I need to keep my board rolling 1.extra axel & kingpin nuts 2.spare 7/8th alan hardware 3.Wax 4.bearings 5.bushings 6.razor blades 7.ear buds 8.med kit 9.skate tool 10.water & snacks & Maybe just $40-$80 bucks just have some cash on hand that day you never know when your gonna stop for food or need a new board keep it in your pocket don't leave cash or prized possessions in your skate bag I ride my bike alot so keeping a small towel for sweat comes in handy also if it starts raining a trash bag over your board tie it at the bottom so rain doesn't collect at the top going into the bag
