i started skating in parking lots until i got a bit better and then i started going to parks more. But honestly it's better just to start off in the park, I also felt like people where staring at me and judging me because i wasnt good but i got over it pretty quick. It helps if you go with a friend though.

i watched through, i'm a 15 year old broke ass kid, and i had an old waterlogged board from my aunt. i learned on it, went down some steep hills, and the trucks disintegrated after a couple days. i realized the kind of streets where i live are way too bumpy for regular wheels, so i replaced the trucks and wheels with long board ones. i'm planning on setting up a custom longboard, and i was thinking about setting up small metal bumps on it that you can push against with your feet and use to lift up the board so you can Ollie without a kicktail. i'm the DIY custom guy

Story time with Staticc s0 I went to the skate park for the first time with my little cousin a few weeks ago. I brought my new board I got for Christmas and she brought her Heelys. It was a small skatepark, so no one was there. As we got out, about 4 older teenagers (probably 16-20) got out and started doing all these cool tricks while I was just sitting on the side, being the only girl skating, and I could only Ollie. Then one of the older boys brought a bike and did this weird 360 flip thing in the air and I didn’t see it because I was too focused on talking to my cousin and practicing my own tricks, so I didn’t clap for him. Then these 3 dudes and 1 girl come up to me and start yelling at me about me being a ‘poser’ and how it was so disrespectful of me to not clap when I was obviously focused on my own tricks. And let me tell you, being a 13 year old, 5”3 female having 3 6”0 17 year olds yelling at you is flipping scary dude. They left shortly after and I attempted to do a few drop ins, which I couldn’t do, but I could go down some pretty cool Ramps and stuff so yeah. Fun. So yea that was story time with Staticc EDIT: I was watching more of the video and saw the ‘KZbin Skater’ and I remembered an incident with these same people. The girl couldn’t skate so she was recording the boys skating and after the dude did the really cool trick she waited a few seconds then panned the camera over to me and started recording me not clapping and stuff then uploaded the clip I was in separately and calling me out as being a Poser. Just wanted to point that out. EDIT 2: No, I don’t push Mongo, I don’t mall grab, I don’t wear thrasher, etc. No, I’m not a poser-
