Man, I’m glad that I was sitting down when you summarized the list in this video. Almost no one doing tutorials seems to do that. Example: Top 10 best, Top 10 worst etc. 😮 Not many tutors seem to realize that when you number items in a list by the time you get to 2 or 3 items deep the listener has forgotten what number 1 was. It should be mandatory for any tutorials that have a list to summarize !!! Wavy Wayne was being dope !!! 👍🏾 😎

After hearing this from funny (in it’s most positive sense) Wavy, I know I‘m not even at the beginning. „Critical listening“ seems a very important point in the hole process, but my ears are developing backwards due to my age (that e. g. means I can’t hear frequencies over 7000 Hz anymore due to a hearing test (I‘m 66 already). After retiring from my job I started with setting up a mini Home-Studio and had to learn everything from scratch with the help of video tutorials for Logic. But what I really needed: watching an expert over his shoulders when recording and mixing a song from scratch. I‘ve released 5 singles under the artist name „VEWI“, where I did everything myself, even the covers, but having been taught by a professional would have made the product much better and things would have been much easier and faster. All recommendations of this video are important. Thank you for them.

I'm in my mid 50s and can relate. I'm coming back to music after 20 years not playing or recording my music. The new technology is daunting at first but it's also exciting being able to record in your own home at the level that 20 or 30 years ago you needed a brick and mortar studio to reach. Over working my self sometimes seem like I never have the time to do my music and focus on being one of the greatest engineer I have three jobs so it’s like going to sleep waking up going to work then I get frustrated like when do I have time from my music even when I set deadlines ☹️ And when I do get off days and try to focus on my music it’s like I’m drained from working
