About Adidas. The company was founded by two brothers. Adolf and Rudolf Dassler. The 2nd World War also divided the two brothers. Adolf Dassler absolutely wanted to equip the Olympic Games with their shoes. But because these were held by Adolf Hitler, Rudolf Dassler wanted nothing to do with it. The brothers separated and Rudolf Dassler founded Puma.

I'll answer these for you ZO 1's were trash. Kobe left adidas because he was smart. nike is Dope. And His adidas shoes were doodoo. The Jordan 3's,4's,5's had Nike Air on the back of them. featuring a swoosh. The air jordan didn't need to bare the swoosh. And the designers didn't design them that way? A Air Jordan 1 just sold less than 2 weeks ago for 560,000. Making it the most expensive sneaker ever. And Kanye could never jump over the Jumpman. They had a good year in 2019. But Jordan made Double the money. And even though no one seemed to mind that the yeezy 350 was a Nike roshe ripoff with a adidas boost sole, I think everyone has figured out that he is just releasing the same shoe over and over. more than 40 pairs of the same shoe released in slightly different colorways, in a few years.

I love my AJ 2 in OG bred colorways, I think they are slept on because they are pretty "bulky" IMO and to be truly used for sports they don't have that great of ankle support.....BUT they are super comfortable...looks fly with any pair of jeans, more of a winter sneaker IMO

Adidas didn't invent the three stripe logo, it was purchased from Finnish sportswear company Karhu. Karhu also happens to be the first company to use an air unit in a shoe, beating Nike by just a year or two with the Karhu Champion, now retro'd as the Championair. My gramdpa actually used to ski jump on their skiis back in the 40s and 50s and my dad used to wear their skii boots, but they also provided running shoes for the Finnish Olympic team for a number of years. One of the oldest sportswear companies still in business too started back in 1916. Always get just a bit miffed when they're excluded from the history of sportswear and sneakers, even if they never had the recognition in North America of companies like Nike, Adidas, Puma, or Champion they really did and still do create and implement some of the most cutting edge technologies of the time as well as today with their modern stuff. I sound like an advert mixed with encyclopedia jones but nobody fricken knows about them!
