I'm an illustrator, and it was a jungle themed nursery so I painted monkeys and parrots and all sorts of other animals everywhere, and over the baby's crib I painted the lyric _"In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight...."_ That baby will be 14 in November. 🥲

But, when it comes to contemporary music, you can't really say anyone is better than Whitney Houston. As good as, maybe. But not better. Yeah, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey...There are a few that you could argue are as good. But I still think Whitney had the prettiest voice.
