Hi Leila, An interesting lesson about "sophisticated English expressions for a smart conversation". I appreciate your efforts and learned lots of new expressions. Homework: 1. In any uncertain situation, government tends to err on the side of caution and delay. 2. In light of her past records, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. 3. There are many things, I take for granted and don't even realise. 4. That is the freudian slip that I've been talking about. 5. Smith tried to insinuate herself into the rich Solomon family. Thanks and regards.

Kali mera ! I am French (58 years old) and I have been learning English for three years now. Talking is by far the hardest part. However, there is a lot you can improve in listening and reading skills. It doesn't come quickly, but it's still worth the time you put into it. Just prepare for a really long trip ... Good luck.

I think you should explain your students that have doesn't mean "to have" as "to own " it's just the way you start a sentence tousing present perfect. And explain them what "that"- the present perfect also ..., obviously... english isn't my first language and this is how Ibe figuered it out ... I have had a great time answering that question. . I'm drunk.. correct me if I'm wrong

Hi Leila. I've got quite a handful of things to say. Apologies. Firstly, I hope you get well from the flu💚 Example sentences: I wake up every morning and workou... oh I mean watch tv... 'Freudian slip' 2. All my dogs are denying to have chewed my new, exquisite leather sofa. This then begs a question, who did🤔🔎 3. Are you insinuating that I'm lazy? Please make a video on how to pronounce the sounds in the IPA esp the diphthongs combined with the schwa sound. Tia Thanks for the lovely, sophisticated video :)

That book seems to be a bit difficult to read, so I'm erring on the side of the caution and choosing an easier one. I don't want to take anything for granted, I realize everyday how lucky I am in having what I have. I used to have trouble memorizing some British advanced idioms, but now I'm becoming accustomed to that. I'm going to eat a lot of sweets... vegetables, sorry, for the next months. I've got a freudian slip.
