Your active reading video saved my life. I had this engineering mechanics class and in 2 days will be our 2nd long exam so I have to understand the concept (other than problem solving) but I don't have time to write notes from textbook so I just did this whole 'read paragraph then summarize (w/ post it and highlighter)'. And yay, I understand probably 90% of what I read (all 5 chapters) :)

I am really sorry to hear that your home environment is difficult my friend. I will for sure do a video on the topic. But in the meantime, my best advice to you is to maybe try using headphones with background music to help you create a study bubble and isolate your mind to be able to focus more. I have some more questions like... 1. Break ups and bad relationships hits us more than anything...and what happens is even when we are studying. It leads to regressive reading..or studying but something going parallely as other thoughts in head...as a result either it takes time or it doesnt lead to understand what we are studying..so how can v overcome that.? 2. As exam approaches...the capacity of mind reduce to learn freely..as in we get more and more worried and stressed.!..so remedies to calm yourself while studying..?! 3. Sleep our biggest enemy for time consumption...tip and tricks and food...like self hypnosis techniques or foods like which keep us full for longer period... Easily avaible...and stomach friendly..to help us sit for long hours...make us go study for long.? 4. Shuffling between how many subjects to b able to not get bored with each..?!..and keep the mind refreshed.. 5. HOW TO SUMMARIZE...EVERYTHING.. i mean for sums n practical subjects even..?... Thank u ana.I don't use all the tips that you have mentioned but I do use active reading and practice test I am studying physics,Chem and bio and we are expected to remember everything so these two methods help me tremendously. Physics can be a bit intimidating - why don't you look up some videos on the topic to get a feel for the material and see if it's something that you will be having difficulty with or actually be enjoying? :) That's what I did with my Global Marketing Management class.
