Another excellent video. Style tweak is remembering “it’s not you, it’s the clothes.” Tried on two pair of full length exercise pants, same size, color and cut. The first pair was atrocious - negative self thoughts hit hard. Forced self to try on second pair and they fit beautifully - positive thoughts flowed. It was so dramatic, I really could have shared it with your FB group. Your words “It’s not you, it’s the clothes,” really helped me. Thank you so much for truly caring and helping women!

Thank you so much Meadow! It’s amazing the difference the right item can make, isn’t it? I’m so glad you found a pair that brought out your beauty and that you’re starting to see that it’s the clothes and definitely not your beautiful shape! That means so much to me!

The most ageing glasses frames are those narrow rectangle frames in metal that were in fashion about 15-20 years ago.

I can’t wear some fashions because of foot issues. Just wide Flintstone feet….Fred not Wilma. I have to have comfortable shoes and that somewhat guides my fashion choices. I’d be up Schitts Creek if I had to wear suits and pumps to work. I have a non formal job let’s say….but I have lovely silk dresses for weddings, theater, etc. tons of shoes but fear that half way through work or event my feet will be screaming. Boots work in winter but summer….metallics cover a lot of bases. I really like copper and pewter. As did my mother. Building from the ground up.

The trap of continuous (cheap clothes) buying is something we are all guilty of today as online shopping is so tempting. The shipping is free if over a certain amount spent. However when I have looked for “that” quality cashmere classic, I am always disappointed in how ordinary they often seem for the price.

Yes. Fit and cut comes first, colour comes second. Both too tight and too loose will make you look bigger and older. Clothes need to skim the figure. and yes length of pants, skirts and sleeves matter.

Another excellent video. Oh the fit, the fit! Always a challenge for me as someone of petite posture and height! Thank you for highlighting the importance of loving your body yet not liking the clothes that don't fit properly or are not flattering to your shape.

Nada, I personally appreciate hearing you honoring God, which is so rare in this KZbin community. Yes, we were wonderfully shaped and formed in our mother's womb. When we catch ourselves complaining about how we are built we don't often realize it is an insult to the creator. Another great video ❤

Hi Nada, new to ypur content - much enjoying - thank you! That is a very interesting and attractive blouse you are wearing. Love the way the maker has used the pattern on the fabric and the shape of the garment to make a quiet, effortless yet dynamic effect. 💚🙂 .

Yes you have to spend on bras, especially if you are bigger. 80% of women are wearing a bra cup that is too small. Sagging boobs will age you at least ten years.

If you are not tall and slim, avoid the current trend for oversized blazers and jackets with dropped shoulders and double breast design. The classic Basic Blazer by Zara with one button and singled breasted design, is so flattering on my petite frame that I bought it in 5 colours over the past 2 years.

Thanks for the advice. I think at 20 I was the coastal grandmother!! I'm 45 now & it works. Also that yellow romper (as most, IMO) looks like a toddler outfit for adults. That's a bit too youthful & almost creepy looking. Glad it didn't work for you,you're definitely above that!
@NadaManley Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment! Love that you had the good taste to embrace the coastal grandmother look at such an early age while I was still trying to pull off those rompers lol. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video.

I dance several times a week and I eat organic healthy food and I look after and honour my body and life is great.

Enjoy your presentation but I'll keep my own counsel. I'm 81, I live in the San Joaquin Valley in California, we have had at least 20-25 days triple digit (106to 114). If you work in an ac cooled room than one should dress up. I dress for comfort. Many knit shirts some jeans mostly linen slacks or peddle pushers and and a variety of summer hats. My Mother taught me how to mix and match well. When I didn't meet her standard I had to go back to my room and try again.. If I lived on the east coast I'd probably live in between breathable fabrics because due to the high humidity 97 can be horrible. 97 degrees in Hanford,CA. Is great. The amusing talk in town is what I heard at the medical office yesterday. WOW ! Isn't this a great day? It's actually cool. It was 102 degrees. At 81 I try to dress appropriately and if one may make a comment about my attire my reply is well if you want to buy my clothes please feel free to make a comment. If not, then keep your jibes to yourself. You makes wonderful presentation but I'd rather dress for comfort at my age.
