Hey Adete, not sure if I could reach you on a comment. I have a crisis in my life right now, I love someone and my parents are gicing me 2 options without even knowing his name. Option 1 to marry my love and cut ties with my parents n family. Option 2 give up on my Love and marry someone of their choice, but yeah within April or May. I am 26 years old. I am stuck at home, not allowing me to go to my workplace even if it could risk my job. And here at home, it seems like an emotional blackmailing. If I have a legit point on my side or they don't have an answer they react extremely like slapping me or slapping themselves or saying there's a pain in chest. I have been handling this from 2 to 3 years, but this time they aren't letting this slide. Totally confused on my next step. I am not ready to marry some random stranger, I want to marry my love, but not at the cost of sacrificing my bond with parents. If anyone can suggest anything, yes please.
