Hey Matt, love the video! I just wanted to added a few things you missed. As far as Tenome goes the reason why he has eyes on his hands is due to being blind. When he was alive, he was attacked by some thugs. As he lay dying he cried out "If only I had eyes that worked!" Thus transforming him into the Tenome. He uses the eyes on his hands to search for the people that attacked and kill him. Not able to see who it was is the reason why he attacks anyone. Also fun fact! The Pokemon Steel and Fairy-type Mawile is inspired by another Japanese ghost called Futakuchi-onna. Or Two mouthed woman. This ghost is said to be made in two different ways. The first is being a stepmom and not feeding the stepchild only to take care of her own. When the step-child died due to starvation, it comes back as a ghost to possess the stepmom. Causing a second mouth to form on the back of her head. Screaming and demanding to be fed. Not letting up the terrible sounds until it is. The second way is by the husband accidentally swinging an ax he was using to chop wood. And it lands in the back of her head. The wound doesn't heal and grows a second mouth instead. This second mouth also constantly eats. Whispering terrible things to the woman if it isn't fed. Eventually, in both stories, the mouth can also use the hair to reach and grab for food to feed its self.

In terms of the paranormal matt, apparitions are a type of spirit, with a crisis apparition being one of the most mysterious and famous. My family have experience with these, specifically my own mother. If youd like to know the story, lemme know :-)

@@zacheryschmidt2611 well first a crisis apparition is incredibly rare. In extreme circumstances at the exact point and second of death, someone may send their image/visage to their closest most trusted one. In my mums case it was her grandmother while she was just finished school and heading home. As she looked up she saw a very grey and chalky image of her grandmother so ran all the way to her grans house. When she got there she had obviously passed away so she was distraught but she knew, like, KNEW with every fiber of her being that her gran had passed. When she asked the time, it was the time she saw the image. She knew it wasnt an illusion or her eyes playing tricks as it was unmistakeably her gran. She still talks vividly about it to this day

You forgot some stuff about Kuchisake-Onna. No matter how you answer, she will rip off her face mask and ask if she's still pretty. If you answer yes, she will say "I will make you pretty like me!" And will cut you a smile like her's. If you answer no, she will still cut a smile into your face and say something like "I will make you suffer like me!" There was this report from a little kid who heard the story and was approached by Kuchisake-Onna, and when she asked the kid if she was pretty, they responded with "I don't know." And "So so." Which confused Kuchisake-Onna and gave the kid enough time to run away.

What a lot of commenters don’t understand is that this list is more so a mix of yokai and yurei. Yurei are ghosts. Yokai are abstracts. The yukionna is a yokai. Oiwa is a yurei. Most of this list is actually yokai. Like the oni, Yuki-Onna, jiji, etc.

All the people complaining about him not getting the other ghosts. Is because a lot of youtubers already providing details about them. So hes trying to provide new content.

Your Japanese pronunciation has gotten better; however there are still a couple of mistakes. Namahage is pronounced with a hard “g” instead of a soft one, and Yurei is pronounced Yu-ray. Also it is funny you used GeGeGe no Kitaro images for Konaki Jiji because he is more of a comedy relief character and not at all frightening.

I mean, if we really wanted to pick apart his pronunciation, it's all terrible and completely wrong. I'm sure plenty of us are rather familiar with proper Japanese pronunciation, but that's not at all the point of the video. So yeah. lol

Ar7ific1al I was mainly saying that his Japanese pronunciation had gotten better since some his last videos. I was expecting a massacre of the Japanese language when I saw the video in my sub box.

Leo, simply because you have not personally experienced something doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t exist. Are you a millionaire? No? Then they don’t exist.
