Two things this video forgot to mention Never ever cross your legs or your arms during mass for God is not your equal. You don’t cross your legs and arms because we want to be comfortable. He is the Lord your God. Two, kneel properly. Some people kneel during mass but their butts are sitting. Kneel to the Almighty because the mass is your offering of sacrifice that it may be accepted. That’s why the priest say “Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father”. And we respond by “ “May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of His Name, for our good and the good of all His holy Church” Attend the mass with your whole heart cause you never know if it will be the last mass you will attend before God takes you.

I attend a Traditional Latin Mass. We do not touch the host nor do we receive the blood of Christ. While many of us use missals, some of us use our phones to read the passages for the mass. I also have a note on my phone for the prayers after communion. There are appropriate uses for technology during mass. Finally, I badly injured my knees years ago and cannot kneel. I was told that simply making myself smaller in the eyes of God would be appropriate.

Um ok but we have 24/7 365 opportunities for private personal prayer. Communal Eucharist is critical to private practice. Participation for all is determined by the Rubrics because it is a performance of worship of the entire body of Christ the Church. As is the Liturgy of the Hours. There is a time and place for all prayer.

One concern here. Mass is NOT a communal exercise. Yes, there are people gathered together for the liturgy, but the purpose is not “communal”, it’s about our individual, singular, and personal relationship with God. This is especially true in the Eucharist. Jesus and would have died on the cross if there was only one human being in the world. This communal thinking diminishes the reality of our unique personal relationship with our creator.

@ So, can a Mass be valid with just one person participating? Of course it can. The “Communion” is with Christ, not the guy next to you. We all become members of the Mystical Body Of Christ in receiving Him. But the event itself is not intrinsically communal on the temporal level.
