10 things every Things 3 user needs to know

I’m new to Things 3 this year. I’ve tried it before but didn’t like it, however on an iPad Pro and with iPadOS 15, I like it now! 👍🏻 A very useful video for me, 🙏🏻 I kept pausing it to try it myself. Brilliant 😃👍🏻

Great list! I also love Things' ability to search easily anywhere just by typing. Rather than drilling down to a task/project/area/completed item in the logbook, if I know what I'm looking for, I just type the first few letters and so often I can just hit return and I'm right where I want to be!

My favorite feature by far is having different segments in areas or projects for Available and Someday elements. That way you can slim down tasks and projects to only those relevant right now while still having all the ideas available. This makes Review a lot easier and gives the app an unprecedented depth. Second unmentioned: using tags to Filter Today view.

The title is misleading because it is Things 3 on Mac even though we can see an iphone:) It would be good to have another video for Things 3 on iOS / iPadOS. I use this app on my iDevices but I’m always pretty confused with the repeating events on Things 3… Awesome video:)

? Yesterday I purchased the Things 3 app for both my iPad and my iPhone, which as you know are 2 separate purchases. I have never used Things 3 previously. I turned on Things Cloud on my iPad first. My Apple Reminders synced to the Things 3 app. Everything looked fine. Then I turned on the sync option on the iPhone version. I very quickly realized that I now had two of everything on my iPad Things 3 app, and my iPhone Things 3 app. Any ideas on how to correct this? I tried to find the answer online. Surprisingly I didn’t find anything. However, when I put the same question in KZbin, that’s how I found you! Thank you

Nice video! I've been a Things user for a little over 4 years. Definitely wish it had some more features (like markdown for the notes section, attachments, etc). I noticed that you don't use tags. Is there a reason for this?

@@WaltDittrich brand new user here and loved the MORNING tip. I am however not able to have the TODAY view show my MORNING area on top. I went to preferences and checked the box saying "Group to-dos in the Today....". Am I missing something?
