I’ve been in this game longer than you have been alive my man and I’ll tell you that you either need to find a new profession or just realize that you’re a junior with a ton to learn. This is painful to watch knowing that you’ve been at this for all of like a year and literally hate the job. Like what did you expect?

Hey man, I completely respect your experience and I’m aware I’m still early in my career. However, the video was meant to share my personal thoughts on the challenges I’ve encountered so far, not to say that I hate the job or that I’m done learning. I actually enjoy software development but like any profession, it has its ups and downs. This time I focused on the downsides from my personal experience 🙌

Maybe you missed the point. It's not about him, it's about the job. Yes, the job inherently makes you spend a lot of time in front of a computer monitor. The job inherently has a questionable social impact, because applications that have an incredible value for the society (like computed tomography, which saves lives) are rare compared to leisure-oriented applications (which, often, only serve the purpose of showing more ads to people, including kids). Yes, it's a job in which imposter syndrome is particularly prevalent (otherwise developers would not talk about this syndrome all the time). Etc. All those things would be true even if the guy in the video were never born. So, it can't hurt to tell people about this. Some people don't know yet what job they want to do.
