10 Things I Wish I Knew Sooner in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Here are 10 tips that I wish I knew sooner while playing Disney Dreamlight Valley. Also I misspoke about the pricing of the game. I believe its a bit higher than what I mentioned in the video, but its supposed to be free on full release and sometimes they have sales! I hope these tips help you out!

So only the seeds that can be bought in the meadow will grow faster, this is true for all other biomes. So if you plant pumpkins in the forgotten lands they will grow faster. A green arrow will show up next to the seed when planting, if planting in the biome it belongs too.

@@deannacrafts24 no problem! Yeah it’s not something that is well known, I discovered it by accident. I couldn’t figure out why green arrows would show up next to some of the seeds but not all, so I looked it up.

One of the things I wish I've known is to mine frequently. It's so easy to run out of coal when you're cooking multiple dishes. This wasn't an issue before but now I have to be more mindful of how much coal I use. I keep some of the gems for quests and the rest I sell if I need extra coins. I've also been thinking of taking inventory of my items.

The gold energy bar only comes from eating cooked food after you've filled up the blue bar.

Crops grow the best where you purchase them from, pumpkins (fv), carrots (meadow), okra (glade of trust). You can now put a chair out in the open area, sit and gain on your rested bar.

moving the well is so smart!!! im current doing minnies first quest and the blue star flower spawn rate for the south side was literally 1 a day but after moving the well i found at least 4 more thank youu

Great info. I just notice that a lot of players that post on KZbin forget how far they have come from like the “very beginning” of the game. I have yet to see anyone post anything that isn’t the most major flex. Really cool valley, I’m just dumb and salty and stuck on some really early game stuff

Actually for anyone who doesn’t know the game is also coming out on mobile but with the full release so you can’t get early access on mobile just in case some people want to play his game and don’t have a switch or pc to play it on

I don't understand how people can go all out on all the domes and Arian when it is takes too much to craft items. Heck I even use multipliers for specific based items that I want to be using a lot such as three times shoveling pickaxe and crops. It took me almost a week to make 100 iron blocks for one item? 😂 😂 😂

Lots of pumpkins! If you have the time, turn the pumpkins into a veggie platter that’s made with 5 pumpkins

Hey I’m on day 1. Should I be selling the rare minerals I get from mining like topaz onyx and garnet? Should I be saving them? I need the money but not sure what is safe to sell. Carrots aren’t really cutting it rn.

The gems are needed later for quests but if you’re consistently mining then I don’t see why not! I grew and sold canola in early game (you can get from the forest) for money
