For any man searching for a new career, consider fire fighting. I've just started, but it's an inherently masculine job with plenty of risk, adventure and puts in the position of protector and hero. You'll be surrounded by strong masculine men and you'll form a brotherhood, a community where you share meals, knowledge and life experience. You are required to work out and get better everyday, and the schedule is 24 hours on, 48 off, so plenty of time for other pursuits. Sure, it has some big downsides as well, but I am loving this as a new 39 year old recruit, wish I'd found it much earlier. Keep going brother!!

Thank you. 🙏 I'm going to commit to more "balance" in my life, and quit the co-dependency on activities and people that I know aren't adding value to me, and are a major distraction. And taking back control and growing the aspects, interests and value add in my life that I've neglected and not valued enough. It's been painful, but lessons have been learned. Never too late to be accountable, admit your failings, and focus on self respect and healing. ⚖️

I’m recently going through a change in my relationship with my girlfriend, realizing that much our relationship has been affected by the unattended or pushed back trauma and issues that occurred in my life. Through this channel, the past couple days have been full of learning more about myself and I’ve never had a resource like this that I could really understand myself and now my current situation. One of the things I’m already choosing to do from this video is take control of my body, getting back to working out and working on my confidence.

well constructed video. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. Hi I understand your pain. I’ve had on/off each year for 6 yrs with a guy I really loved. Then a year later we accidently ran into each other. Back together again but I’m not doing it after 7. Relationships are work by both sides and never taking each other for granted. You will come out of it and be a different person after a year. It’s tough but over time you will see things differently and grow.

Wanted to leave a comment because I found myself relating to several of these points...I'm 38, and a former band musician, played many concerts, toured, etc. I became obsessed with that lifestyle and "achieving" in it over a 20 year period, that I almost lost sight of how wonderful my present moment is: Being married to a beautiful, supportive wife and dad to our lovely daughter. I still have those band dreams and lottery mindset sometimes...But I do my best to ground myself and remember that life is not a linear path. There were many pitfalls and mistakes and lessons learned that led me to where I am today. But as I stare out the window of my property - we live on a couple acres in the woods - I realize how grateful I am. Thank you for this content. Will be watching.

Men’s personal well being matters, not just our performance. I wish the message of “find other men to encourage and speak into you” was more popular. Men are consistently told to ‘do better’ - what about how WE’RE doing? Men have to experience that we matter before we’re gonna care about others expectations authentically.

Stop comparing yourself to other men, but create benchmarks for success. Look at men as examples for success AND create the epitype of the man that you want to be from the conglomeration of positive traits. I do have to plug combat sports, especially Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We talk about that a lot, but it is a game changer for those of you that want, need, and crave improvement.

One criticism I have here is about your first point, where you seem to argue that sleep hygiene is not as important as exercise. They are both incredibly important, and it could be detrimental to some people to believe that their sleep quality can be compromised in favour of exercising. The truth is that there is space for both, and that depending on one's life situation, one of them might need to be prioritized about the other. And if one's mental state is deeply affected by fatigue, proper sleep and rest will be just as important, if not more important, than a strict exercising regime. That being said, everybody has time for, at the very least, mild exercise (say, a walk) every day!

I understand not giving women the attention they crave through apps and social, but I'm someone who isn't on any of those. That isn't going to help you get into a relationship because most men need to do those things in order to meet the woman in the first place. And when you said not to go after women you don't have a shot with, that's especially hard because anymore, an average guy has trouble even getting a below average woman. A man who is a 6 is lucky to get a woman who is a 4 because she's holding out for a man who is an 8. And while I don't look at much porn, I'm guessing you're referring to masturbation as well. Most men, including me, aren't giving that up because that's the only sex we get. I'm with someone and haven't had sex in almost a year. We had sex once in '23 and once in '22. Before that we had sex maybe 2 or 3 times a year and the first few years we were together, maybe 5-6 times. So like most married men, taking care of it yourself is about the only sex you can get. And I'm not giving up video games. While she doesn't like me doing it, at least I'm on the couch with her. If I'm out doing the things I used to do like long bike rides or in the kayak and I'm away from her for the majority of the day, then she will make life unbearable. I think I'm like most guys my age when it comes to games. When we were young, we'd play video games and D&D because we couldn't get dates. We now play them because we've gotten dates and learned we prefer video games to being in a relationship.

You forgot some rather obvious and important things like the complete degeneracy of everything mainstream disguised as "peace/love/new-age/hippy" movements that preach acceptance of *"everybody" while hypocriticaly practicing the opposite. As well as all of the weak followers of the false dichotomy of the left v right paradigm, where people foolishly and ignorantly speak badly about, lets say.. the "right" or Trump, while supporting something as odd or ridiculous as our current supposed "leader of the free world" 🙄 It all goes into the trash where it belongs.

Or ten things I can keep doing because I don't trust any girl. As long as I have Jesus and my video games then I'll be fine. I dont care what women find and don't find attractive. We are broken. Every one is broken. Only Jesus can save and fix us.

Love your videos and your overall message, but I feel like you put women on a pedestal far too much in this video. "You shouldn't be doing xyz because women will think less of you" is a very toxic ideology imo (this would hold true if this video was directed at women and the message was about what men think of them). Who cares what the hypothetical general population of women thinks? Not to come off as misogynistic, but it just feels as if you are putting all the emphasis of growing as a man into getting a woman. As long as and person is doing things that help them grow as a person and feel fulfilled with life, rather than doing things that prevent them from growing and feeling fulfilled, they're on the right track.
