Pretty sure my "ex" hooked up with a supply from 24 years ago. She let him right in the door. . .let him manipulate her for 4 days and bounced back to Florida. She's in Tennessee. She contacted me. Sent a picture of them together, acting heartbroken. I'm really 50/50 about whats possible? Is she talking to me via him, still in contact? Now she wants to visit in a month, down to Florida. It seems strange, maybe its just me. Why want ro be so close with the woman he was with, at the same time as you? Feels off. I never contacted him since finding you. What I have experienced, NC no contact is a constant slap in their face. It digs deep into their sick egos, not to be the center of attention. SICKENING & will do a yrhing to jerk you into attention. I will clam up or walk away, saying NOOOOOO.& mean it.I am so Done with these devil's and I am totally aware of WHAT THEYRE GAME IS. But if you are working for them, or they are part of your family it is more difficult. If you can, GET OUT and go no contact. The peace you feel when you get past the trauma bond is unreal.💟

Being out of the relationship for 8 months already, with no contact -I can now look back and see that I had already started inadvertently annoying my narcissistic “best friend” by behaving in many of these ways. Such as instinctively using the greyrock technique, and saying no once in a while. As I became a stronger and more confident person, it just seemed to annoy her even more. My ex wife .. she had me on strings even 4 years after I left. Then.. to get rid of the 'family debt' .. I took voluntary redundancy from my leasership / school career (was good pay, I kept her well-sorted) and entered into an IVA. I told her .. she was FURIOUS!! And in front of my kids .. and blamed me for her being angry 😂. She had lost her cash provider and there was nothing she could do about it. That year, I received the divorce papers. Go figure 😂. And to add insult to injury, I went on the dole / benefits, and had my doctor write a letter to say I couldnt go back to teaching due to I'll health (I actually was very I'll from it all) .. and set up a limited company self employed, came off benefits, made the headlines for the work I was foing so my kids could see I wasnt a deadbeat dad .. and she couldn't touch a penny of it. My name was smeared so badly. She did end up turning everyone against me, even my kids, and even people in the education world. But I stayed strong, did not waver, kept going, stubborn as a mule .. it was bloody hard but she will never ever know that.

After being in no contact for approximately 10 years, the ex narcissist popped up at a place I was working - along with his wife, one of the many women he chose over me (I was trauma bonded and kept jumping when he called no matter how hurtful his behaviour had been). Once he realised I worked there he popped up again less than a week later (with his wife) he seen me have a pleasant interaction with a nice guy who held a gate open for me and then he started beeping the horn of the van he was in and waving frantically (in front of his wife). I looked, seen him and then blanked him. He was FUMING, not hurt, not confused but incandescently irate like how dare the likes of you ignore ME!? I've seen him a few times since and he's tried to ignore me to punish me and presumably to restore the previous power balance but it just doesn't have the same impact on me that it once would have done. Weirdly, his wife seems to be one of his flying monkeys, regularly spying on me and trying to find out info on me. I think they're made for each other!

I was working at a large and busy event and an couple came to peruse the wares available. When I asked them if I could help, they said they hadn't decided, so I turned and served another young couple who quickly selected and were served their choice. Immediately, the first couple went in search of security to complain I had served another couple before them. Narcs are everywhere, and this is one of the more humorous experiences I've had with these twisted types of people.

Even though he had builled and abused me for a year, he was absolutely floored when I said I didn't like him. HIs jaw hit the ground. I cut off another narcissist who used someone else to try to connect with me. "She's wondering why you don't txt anymore. What will I tell her," ?...I said. ."Just tell her I don't like her." I knew he wouldn't! Four simple words that shatter their delusions, particularly the delusion that they can abuse people and yet still be liked by them. They are beyond ridiculous!

You see THEY are boring. This believing they know it all.. a couple of classics; Pink Himalayan salt? What a load crap. Can only get salt from seabed. Australia has only one type tree, the gum. What about the Wolemi Pine? Oa, I see them everywhere. I support israel because its always been there.... This time just had to put them straight, Israel was founded 1948. Big wide open mouth.. not only contradicted but I dare to? Its dangerous correcting them. Honestly, being a totally boring person best strategy of all.

Great video. I'm in stitches laughing. I got educated just before lockdown. If I said no, I would get the word salad. I signed many a document for what ever his latest whim was. I'm easy going but during lockdown it was entertaining to sit still, not react and watch him spinning. He walked out the door like a lamb. Life is good now 3 years I'm free. No more him snapping his fingers cause he just thought of something to say. When I was talking to my children. Good to see a humorous side to this sometimes- Im glad you've added a note of caution about these tactics. If you use any of the suggested methods then you must prepare for the potential doubling/trebling down of the abuse. Let's face it , you've annoyed them, and that is not going to go down to well or easily forgotten. Anyway I'll add another one for good measure. In my experience the narcissistic partner feeds off and armours themselves with the information that they, seemingly innocently glean from you. E.g. - A simple question like "what have you been doing today and who and what have you been talking about" - I can guarantee that if and when you share this information it will be stored and used later against you. So if you want to annoy or even potentially disarm the narcissist then stop sharing any of your personal information. This is a tricky one if you think you're in a 'normal' relationship because sharing is a big part of that and it would be a quite reasonable thing to do , BUT NOT WITH A NARC! and it will piss them off when you don't walk into this trap. An example of how the narcissist can turn you're questioning into an opportunity to devalue or undermine you're confidence goes something like this- You: "Hey, how has your day been today" Narc: " Why would I bother telling you, you wouldn't understand if I did" You: (Thought bubble) "Jeez, I was only %&*king asking." Result = feelings of inadequacy Thanks as always Paula 🙏

Work situation: showing up wherever I am at on the corner, at the coffee shop, at the elevator, passing by as I am interviewing a client , just happens to be passing by as I am just getting to work…mere coincidence , not more like targeted….1st 3 hour conversation trailed off with me say hello and realizing he was drunk. He admitted to having a drinking problem , and oh boy he just would not lie to me he said I love you 3 times in the conversation, love bombing at its best. Went to dinner…… I made it clear whatever his intentions …. I am to 20 years his senior we both agreed for friendship in Christ….went to bible study twice now with reason I won’t go again…. And I will not accept nothing from his hand…. So far I have not seen hide nor hair of him…. I hope this means he is fading or moving on… without having to Hoover or send flying monkeys

Definitely take her warning about walking away from a narcissist. I could tell when he was working up to a narcissistic rage. So I would try to leave before he got there. This wasn’t easy because there was only one exit because of the stuff blocking doors. This happened one of the times I walked (ran) away. So I make it to my car and out to the street. Here he comes with a shovel, jumps in front of my car. In a rage demanding me to get back in his house and threateningly tapping my car. I refuse and try to get around and he brings the shovel down striking my car more than 5x. The next day he says he only wanted to know why I ran out like that for no reason. Said I was crazy and acting like a crackhead. (I feel really stupid that I even talked to him after this happened). So people be very careful before you walk away from a narcissist.

the first time I said no to a narc, it was soo liberating....the best feeling ever....and I used to say yes to to everything as a supportive partner and because he would make me feel bad about saying no. Finally I just said no, and I survived the aftermath and I said that wasn't so bad, so now I have no problem telling him no. I love telling him no. My fav method is not reacting when he wants a reaction. What they love to do is take something that got a reaction out of you before (especially anger, sadness) and subtly bring it up or do it. For instance, you tell the narc to make sure the doors and windows are locked at night and they delibrately don't....so you bring it up like hey please make sure you lock the door at night when you get home, it makes me feel uneasy to sleep with the doors unlock..what do they do deliberately leave the door unlock just to get a reaction....they are so stupid🙄

Hi Paula. I just watched a tiny bit of another video by someone else about what they tell about you to their next prey. He told me years ago when I first met him of how his partner and mother of his two children had been caught in bed with his boss and that it hit him like a brick. I actually got up and walked away because he also had his hand on the leg of another girl in the cafe. What a mix up. Mirror time. It was him who slept with his boss! of course. his boss was a she. They just lie and lie.

Paula you can’t even imagine,how much you helping us. I had very difficult situation for almost 7 years ,I finally had to call police on him,He was pushing me around,and biting me ,kicking me after I put some boundaries.Eventually he was arrested for 3 counts assault and death treat.He has no contact,restrictions.I wondering what might happen if the ….no contact…restrictions will be lifted if will be.I am actually scared when I think about this. He was preparing himself to discard me,I know now he was telling everyone we know that I am mentally not well,for long time before I say anything to my friend.I had no ideas.In front of friends he even open the car door for me .But when we were alone ,he was very cold,tyrannical,dictatorial,brutal,to name a few.I know for sure he wanted arrest me for abusing him. And of course,his son was with him on board.He was opposed from the beginning,that his father will marry again. I got some information what to do ,and I went to police,after he bruised himself 1 day before his doctor appointment.It was beyond any imagination ,but not his ,he probably really thought,his and his son narcissist also will work.And maybe would,but I was very suspicious,and went to centre for abusive women.I feel much better,compared the time he was at home.The air is lighter.I have my moments,and I am scared. Did you have any situation that the narcissist actually loose his battle? Or the battle is not finished yet?The apartment I am is his also and we still have finance together.I do not know what will happen,I was actually hoping that he will learn something from the all experience,but more I learn from videos like yours,I doubt it.

Yes warning ⚠️ as Paula says all of these work very well, but do be careful if you are still living with that person especially if they are bordering psychopath or sociopath. Now you may not know what they are until you do any of these methods that Paula lists. I started getting the info when I was still living with my ex narc and by this time she was devaluing me and giving me massive psychological and emotional abuse and I started applying some of the methods Paula outlined. I started saying no, and being defiant, I started letting her know also that her ideas were not as amazing as she liked to think. And as she would put me down in front of others, I started applying the above tactics in front of others too. I also became totally unresponsive both in physical presence and on my phone with responding to calls and messages. Be careful! My one went full blown crazy. Violent. And then you better beware what evil you’ve lifted the lid on that was reasonably contained before! When I had to leave, she shouted never to contact her again. Every week, on the 7th day without fail each time, she messages me. She can’t get over a ‘hi how are you’. I know that in this case she is so angry with me, but her need of my supply keeps her reaching out. She’s angry with herself that she is contacting me, because anytime I greyrock politely and respond I don’t get another message to follow on. For me I laugh because when I message I know that she then is angry and decides ‘how dare you I’m not going to reply to her’ but a whole week goes by and she caves again.

I watch lots of these channels and there is not a lot about narcissist children. My son is utterly ruining my life with this and turned my whole family against me, coz he nice to them not to me. All done behind closed doors. Sometimes in restaurants with family and covertly makes me uneasy but no one knows. Just feel no one gets this and family blame me as tho bad mother and I am not I can tell you for sure. My dad a narcissist but now dead, so maybe it a genetic thing?
