The insulation of many a Czech home or apartment building that makes them so cozy in winter, works in summer too. You just need to be wary of when to leave windows open and when to keep them shut. If you keep them open wide so long as it’s cooler outside than inside - mostly through the night and early morning - but keep them shut in the heat of midday, it’s possible to maintain tolerable temperature inside without air conditioning. (I find 26 °C tolerable when it’s thirties outside.)

Actually beer garden is supposed to be an outside part of restaurant, and is only very rarely standing apart. Regarding the summertime activities, when not counting barbequeing sausages (wich is a thing) Czech Republic is landlocked, but there are MANY watter-bodies, like some of the major European rivers, lakes, damms (Vltavian cascade is possible to ride on ship from Prague up to Lipno damm), and ponds (Třeboň region is famous for its watter-bodies and fishes). So, technicaly, "no sea" is true, but czech people tend to LOVE watter activities even more because of it. Regarding tap watter - the temperature is simply because of how the pipes are build into streets and buildings, and how isolated. The watter is SAFE, but generaly it does not hurt to DO some basic filtering, because Prague pipes are quite old and sometimes pipes deliver a bit of SAND from the faucet. I do prefer either filtering jug, or filter fashioned inside the faucet. I mean - the water is fine, but it does not hurt to go for the safe side... BTW, not sure how others, but I would love similar video about a country/city in Venezuela, where your famili lives - so if you plan to go there for a reunion sometimes, here is a sugestion for topic... :D

Maybe she's speaking from her past living experience? Miami metropolitan population: 6.11 Million people. Prague metropolitan population: 1.32 Million people. So yeah it's large, but smaller than Miami relatively speaking.

@ArepasforDinner4 жыл бұрын
Oh I can’t speak for all Czech Republic but Prague is very very dry. If you are in a new building your clothes will be dry in a couple of hours or less 😱
@michalkucera99444 жыл бұрын
yeah, humidity in my country is above 80%, in winter and autumn about 85-95%, just normal, this is very dangerous in winter, and you must keep clothes dry!

Well the doctor's appointment is weird because I have exactly the opposite experience. You get your appointment much quicker than you would get for example in Sydney, but once waiting in the waiting room it sometime takes hours. It's never been on time for me tbh. Public transport might be good reliable and convenient unfortunately especially in summer they still don't have air con and a lot of people don't use deodorant so it's disgusting. The weather is not as it used to be. When I left Czech 9 years ago one morning was -32 in Prague and snow was literally everywhere. It got much warmer in last 8 years. I love how you start with I'm originally from Venezuela. It's so obvious you don't even have to mention it. But don't take it the wrong way I love your accent!

The houses is not historical, they are just communistic and i hate that. Brno look more like Russia, but Praha is nicer, but i could not live in Praha
@ArepasforDinner4 жыл бұрын
The historical is antique. The panelaks are communist. The communist never built the antique ones cause they never do anything pretty
@Sklepmistr994 жыл бұрын
@@ArepasforDinner This is terribly simplified and terribly generalized. Even during communism, interesting buildings were built. Not all architects were red fanatics. I don't want to defend the Bolshevik era, but sometimes it is exaggerated and everything is thrown on commies...
@Sklepmistr994 жыл бұрын
@@ArepasforDinner By the way, panelaks are not just the domain of the former Eastern bloc. They are also to be found elsewhere. The difference is that in Western countries they have fallen due to lucrative land or they simply have more decorative elements, roofs, etc ... they look more like houses than ... (as we say) rabbit houses. :)
@cheguevara55603 жыл бұрын
@@Sklepmistr99 Are you dislexic ...? She said that '' communist never build anything historical '' and she is 100 % right . What ever they build is post 1948 that is not considered as historical architecture . Baroque , Rococo or Art Nouveau in Prague has nothing to do with communist era

Could you use Czechia? Thanks. You do not say Spanish Kingdom, but Spain, so why to use The (you omit the article) Czech Republic?
@ArepasforDinner4 жыл бұрын
My friends and relative hate the term. So I try to go by them. I would rather say Czech than Czechia 😂
4 жыл бұрын
@@ArepasforDinnerYou can't say Czech as it's adjective, nationality or languege but not the name of the country. Czechia is the only right one word name like Česko in Czech, Tschechien in German, etc. All the languages have one word name for our country so why not English? No matter your friends or relatives like it or not :) It's the matter of custom - the more you use it the more you get used to it :) Would you use The Croatian Republic or just Croatia? If Croatia, why not Czechia? Almost the same :)
@ArepasforDinner4 жыл бұрын
Well let’s do something! You can say Czechia and I’ll say Czech Republic 😅🤗 this country has already change its name too many times in 100 years. I’m fine saying like that and won’t have my husband and his friends rage when using Czechia. We honestly call it cesko so that’s that

@ Protože ta tvoje Čekííía zní jak Čečna. :D A kolikrát už nás chtěli Usáci vybombardovat. :) Takže republika to vždy jistí, je to zavedená značka, kterou všichni znají. Možná bohužel, ale je to tak. Zkrácený název nebyl dlouho ustanoven, tak to tak dopadlo.
