But you can´t use every peeler like that. I´m left-handed and I always have to peel away from my body (although I always learned you are supposed to do it towards your body). So in general I actually believe they are made for left-handed people too, cause like I said, you are not supposed to peel away from your body (or at least, that´s what I have learned)

Today I learned that mcflurry are supposed to be mixed
@Emanemoston
@Emanemoston 3 жыл бұрын
I used to be a mold maker, our company built the tools to make the McDonalds mixing spoon. The first ones we made had a sort of paddle shape, like you would see in a large mixer, and the "handle" was round. They would only us the mixer once, then throw it away. So, since they also always gave you a plastic spoon to eat with, they just decided to make the paddle a spoon shape, now they save the cost of those plastic spoons and don't clutter their own bins with the mixing spoon. The handle was changed from round to square, to my understanding, to discourage it being used as a straw, that's also why it also has some small holes on the side. I don't know why they didn't want it used as a straw.

Tip with peeling mangoes. Cut the mango in the middle horizontal to the seed. Twist both sides till they come apart and the seed is only in one side then pull the seed out and spoon the rest of the mango out of the peel

Sorry to be an absolute bummer. Oven warming drawers have not been built properly insulated since the fifties. No matter how much of a clean home you keep, I'm sure we've all found mouse droppings in our warming drawer from time to time. Do you really want to put your food in there.

Here's the facts of the under the oven thing is actually used for stew you put it in like a bowl or something and then it will slowly steam it that's why it keeps your food warm when you put it in there

If the mango is ripe enough, you don't actually need to peel it. It's actually a lot more convenient not to, because you can grab it without getting your hands dirty.

6:20, this isn't quite true. While the bottom drawer is also used a broiler to keep your food warm, not all appliance models do this. You must check with your appliance manual and check if the model supports a warming tray feature or if it really is just for storage.

I've always used the peeler back and forth. I hate peeling veg, so I've always wanted to get it done quick. Everyone used to make fun of me for doing it. I used to throw lots of dinner parties ( themed ones , make food, drink, and trivia from a certain country, music as well). Of course it was all B.C ( before covid). Now I can tell them I was doing it properly all along! 💗 Quick question: does anyone else eat the skin on a kiwi?

The drawer under my oven is in fact only storage. Especially since it’s always got mouse droppings some how (we live in the country and even tho I keep poison out) I’m constantly having to clean out that drawer.

This. I can't believe anyone ever thought that on every oven it is a warming drawer. They're going to be very surprised when they find out that it is actually a broiler and their food is now burnt, or just a storage drawer and now their food is likely cold and probably contaminated.
