Netflix 100000%, it blows my mind how many people don't understand this!! It's the best thing they could ever do for combat sports in general not just MMA. Advertisers and sponsors will also pay ridiculous money to have their products on screen (more eyes the more they bid) which goes direct to the promotion (ESPN give a flat fee to UFC and they are the ones who make the PPV money) whereas being on Netflix not only grows their brand MASSIVELY but that also generates into merchandise and ticket sales which again all goes back into the company. The PPV model is really only in North America now at most (I know North America is huge) however you know for a fact the UFC didn't really want to do the UK card at the time they did recently, this was purely because of an ESPN thing wanting to maximise their buys which as of now they have the rights to demand this. The UFC don't really benefit much from the PPV buys as much as people think they do, if at all, whereas soon as they are on Netflix (or any platform similar) they will really see the money coming in also. Last but not least people will always bring up the Jake Paul situation with Netflix crashing, well 1. That was expected to happen as teething problems and 2. It will be 100000% ironed out before the UFC will be on there (their negotiations start in January but it would probably be early 2026 or late 2025 at the earliest we'd see them on there) so it's not a problem. The fact Netflix crashed on that occasion shows the huge amount of reach they truly have!! (Which again grows the company, translates into sponsorship and advertisers paying tons and merchandise and tickets sales going through the roof). UFC on average gets around 1.1 - 1.8 million in their top 10 buys (2.4 being their highest ever with Khabib and Conor). Jake Paul Vs Mike Tyson had 68 million watching (more if more could have watched live too), that's a big difference from 2.4 million at most to 68 million. Tommy absolutely nailed it in this video and gets it, it truly will be the biggest thing for them if they can do this and any combat sports who can get onto these platforms 😊

I've seen coaches and fightes saying that what they like at the Apex is that they can instruct and be instructed with so much ease and IMO that's very important mainly for the newcomers and for those that are on a losing streak, that's why they put in the firs card of the year 5 fighters from the last DWCS season so if they get any highlight they will for sure fight next in front of a big crowd. I don't know if it's true that they were gonna make some changes at the Apex but my take is that I would make it a small Arena with the official cage(should be one already), with capacity for 2k-5k people cutting some extra expenses(and you you can you still have the area for the guests on the other side depending on how they expand the building). LV has new tourists every weekend and going to UFC card that is cheap it's a formidable experience to do in LV, and with 10 cards per year, considering they will slow down the Apex cards this year, and would set mainly those inexperienced fighters that Dana chosed by instinct to a bigger crowd and it would present the sport to the casuals that just went for the new experience and could become a fan and costumer for a future event in their city. Not to mention that getting rid of the Apex means that those shitty fights that you guys always complains beforehand would have to be spread among these other cards.

I can see the ufc thinking a deal to go on Netflix because WWE just not with Monday night raw on Netflix

UFC on Netflix feels inevitable. Netflix already picked up Monday Night RAW for a very, VERY pretty penny. TKO had a taste of that money, and they for sure want more, but I doubt you'll get a buy out of the PPV market. Deep discount? Maybe, but all the way out, Slim to none.

Omg, #3 I completely agree with this. That last England ppv time was some B.S. it's so hard to watch an PPV fight card in England

Netflix already got a deal with TKO by having WWE Raw airing there starting next week so why not take UFC too and stream all the events there?
