It's a wonderful city. It oozes with history. There are few towns that can claim to have been the Capital city of the US. I very much enjoyed visiting there as I grew up in Central Maryland. I didn't mind going there when I had jury duty. But, I don't think that I would ever live there. However, if you are not keen on confinement, you don't have to travel far to get into the countryside. But, keep in mind that many of the homes in downtown Annapolis (Near the State House and The Governor's mansion) are estimated to be over $1 Million.

Being born in Annapolis and going to Downtown Annapolis once every 2 or 3 years is always a good pleasure being there on a sunny/partly cloudy day! I did one of my driving tests with my driver's ed teacher over there and I passed without crashing or denting his car, haha. Annapolis is one of the greatest "nostaligic-rich-feeling" places to go to. Whether you're rich or poor, you'll love being at Downtown Annapolis every minute of it!

I was born and raised in Annapolis. Lived there for 30 years. It really depends on who you run with. Annapolis can be all kinds of things to all kinds of people. That's one of the things I love about it. But no real estate company is going to tell anyone what you're talking about lol... Where I'm at now, it is literally all the same people doing all the same kind of things. We're the "silicon valley of the east", which is just as boring as it sounds.
