Fellow Marylander here wanted to confirm we put old bay on everything. I’ve made crabby eggs for all my grandchildren when they are over for breakfast it’s literally scrambled eggs seasoned with old bay. Love ur videos!

Just happened to have this video of your visit to Annapolis pop up on my screen this AM while getting my first cuppa Joe down my throat and immediately hit 'play'. Was not disappointed! You two are so stinkin' cute, for starters, but your production of this video is outstanding! Will track down your Emmy winning program , for sure. As a native Annapolitan, I really enjoyed the wide range of background & drone shots you interspersed with your commentary. And, we know you just scratched the surface . . . @ It ( Naptown ) was a derogatory term the Mids used to describe girls who lived here, as opposed to the girlfriends from home, some of whom moved to Annapolis to work ( usually as bank tellers ) for the mid’s senior year, before getting married during June Week. Anyway, they’d say, “Naptown girls are okay to date, but bring your girl from home for June Week.” Also ( fun fact ) if you started to date a middie, your social life at AHS was over. I had a guy break off our date to prom because he found out I’d had a date (1 date) with a mid! We weren’t going steady or even dating, we were just good friends, so that was a shock! So, I went to a big dance during June Week, saw the Blue Angels from the waterfront in the Academy & had a date for the next Army/Navy game ( was at Temple U dental school the next fall ) so, HA! 😜🤭😂

Enjoyed your video. My husband and I love visiting there. Gotta let you know that Storm Brothers Ice Cream is the BEST ice cream in Annapolis. Also free parking tip…Calvert Street Garage is free Friday evening through Sunday evening. It is a short walk to town.

@@TheDetourDuo if you are going to be in London, there are art galleries and cathedrals and so many parks Trafalgar Park ...Piccadilly You need to go to all these places lol I remember being in a place called The whispering gallery and Big Ben it was a long walk but we got there lol. Food of course you have to do fish and chips, mushy peas, you must have beans and toast for breakfast 🙌🏻 Just sent my cousin a text She said Best place for a tourist to stay is Covent garden because there is a market there and their shops and food and theaters and galleries and all kinds of places in one location where you don't have to pay for transportation FYI

Not that visiting anywhere in the US is my plans I love that you are showing us how to (or not) travel on 100USD a day. Which is significantly more difficult when converting to CAD. (about 71USD) However, I did do something similar when travelling in China some years back. 100CAD/100RMB depending on what I was including. Was I successful? Pretty close to the overall budget for a month. So, yes to anything free or by donation can be entertaining, interesting, and educational.

Tony, it wasn't just the food you spent money on; in typical Annapolis fashion, parking fees ate up 25% of your original budget! 😳 Luckily my sister lives in Eastport, so when the weather is favorable we can walk downtown from her house. And my nephew works at the Boatyard Bar & Grill, if you're ever back and in the mood for an "All Killer, No Filler™" crab cake 😎 Good luck staying on budget in DC, especially with parking! I like to just pay for the garage in New Carrollton and ride the Metro in. Not just to save 💰, but because driving in the city scares me too much 😱

@@TheDetourDuo oh those people of little faith 😜. I live in a town called Worthing, about 15 Km from Brighton (very cosmopolitan, Brighton that is). Brighton is 85 km from London and worth checking out en route to the Cotswolds. It's famous for its lanes with independent shops. Traveling west along the South Coast past the Isle of Wight are spectacular Jurassic Period coastal scenery. Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, then you are near Bristol (Amazing City) which is near the Cotswolds. How long are you over in the UK for? Ps it can get chilly in Autumn/winter
