Well, during the time he was out, he had good runs in both AAA and Lucha Underground, so WWE wanted him back and basically promised that they would book him well this time. He agreed and came back. They didn't book him well, so he got frustrated and just left.

He got fired for slapping a worker backstage who had made racist remarks about him. So the only thing that's fucked up in that situation is that he got fired for it really.
