Seeing this review reminds me of how funny "Problem Child 2" really was. i actually recorded the film for myself when it premiered on Fox in 1993, taking extra-special care to cut out commercials. Remember having to do that?? And yes, i miss John Ritter. It really made me sad when he passed. It felt like we lost a genuinely good and decent Hollywood person. I grew up in Maitland where the "pizza place" scene was filmed.. the restaurant was called the Bubble Room. I remember going there with my family as a kid. They were known for simple foods like grilled cheese and such. They had the wackiest decorations inside and the exterior was equally intriguing. The roof was singled with wood and had lumps all over like bubbles. They even had a yellow brick road and a mural of OZ as you walked inside! Sadly that location closed down several years ago but thankfully the owners moved the business to Captiva Island in Southwest Florida around the same time. It's not quite the same as most of the antiques and collectibles seen in the film were sold with the building. The idea was that it would remain a restaurant as it was very popular at the time, but unfortunately the collectibles were sold off and the building burned down before ever reopening. Growing up near Orlando was awesome! Funny thing.. I now live in Southwest Florida and have visited the Captiva location several times👍👍

Oh my god, the Clark-Kent Phenomenon is _Real!_ - I had _no idea_ that the actress playing Annie was the same woman who played Flo in the first movie. And I don't think it's the glasses or hair either; it's the _personality._ Amy Yasbeck just sinks into both roles that you'd never guess they were the same person unless you looked _real closely._ (Which is kind of disturbing that Ben remarried a woman who looked just like his first wife; but at least acted _nothing_ like her.) The glasses aren't Clark Kent's disguise; it's his attitude - his mannerisms - his persona; no one would ever connect that Mild-Mannered Clark Kent could be the Unstoppable Superman.

YES, I love this one--just like 'Child's Play 2', it could BE the only one, and it gives just enough backstory so you don't even need to see the first:) I adore Ben and Junior dressing alike and having such a sweet relationship despite the craziness, how their relationships with Annie and Trixie develop, and of COURSE LaWanda being one of my favorite villains ever. Big Ben and Peabody are still awesome, and Murph is one hilarious school bully. The primary colors, outrageous stunts, and gross-out stuff do such a great job making this seem like the best live-action cartoon, with just ENOUGH reality:) THE BARF SCENE!! And Junior filming Rhoda and her boyfriend...like WOW:):) I love when she's pigging out and he turns on 'Leave It to Beaver'--"Yeah, don't forget that Junior and Ben actually DO have a really sweet Beaver and Ward relationship--IN AN INSANE ASYLUM!!" I love when Junior and Trixie become friends--at the end when she jumps into his arms is the cutest thing ever:):) But I can't believe they took out that ONE deleted scene that was a PLOT POINT! Leading to the food fight with the NASTIEST pizza I've ever seen in my LIFE!! I love when Junior grins as Trixie tells him about nearly killing every guy who comes on to Annie because he did the same thing:) And Big Ben getting together with LaWanda is so great because they're SO perfect for each other you have to wonder how they didn't cross paths earlier:)

Minty you are great! Thank you! I remember the puking scene and electrocution scene freaked me out as a child

I’ve seen part one and two many many times in the last 30 years or so and never realized Amy Yasbeck was in both movies. Mind blown.

As a kid, those slimy pizzas grossed me out just as much as the puke! Also, I can't believe I never noticed that his new girlfriend in 2 was the same actress that played his wife in the first one!

I actually noticed that (maybe because i have always loved natural redheads). Which i found really cute because it's like John Ritter's Character became full circle, finding a loving, charming and smart woman who looks like his ex-wife who was the exact opposite.
