True but mostly , consumers friendly distros doesn't need FIREWALL to be installed such as UFW.

If you have a basic installation then you might consider the installation to be easy. Generally it is safe to say Fedora's installer stinks. I have seen the installer that will be in Fedora 42. It is an improvement.

I used TLP on Ubuntu 22.04 - after few updates (I forgot which update) - Ubuntu removed the Power Profiles TLP - I also installed supporting Software for TLP - cpufreq But my Battery Performance increased without TLP - Power Profiles by the OS is good - I read some where Linux Support for Laptop Power Profiles got Increased - it was included in the kernal 🤔

Great content, thank you. Nice pace and flow. I'm running XFCE spin, so no software manager, so the step to enable 3rd party repos isn't an option. What will I miss out on by not using the GNOME software manager + 3rd party repos? I get that the dnf fusion repos (free & non free) & Gnome 3rd party repos are different. But what's the difference?

Nope I installed cuda support for X11. I use Wayland out of the box with NVIDIA driver installed.

There are tools like Disks and Gparted. But be careful and back up your data before using them, you can mess up your entire system with these tools.

I don't think there is an option to increase Ubuntu storage You can mount Windows 🪟 Partitions and you move data between them

If your hardware is brand new I mean using latest components you can go with rolling distros like FEDORA , ARCH, Ubuntu NON LTS.

It's just the same as others, opensuse also have a graphical Installer so just follow the usual method and just use the opensuse's iso image

don't worry too much about it if you are new to linux, if you have an nvidia graphics card, make sure you only follow the part where he installs the dedicated drivers, and that's it. everything in the operating system will just work fine

What do you mean is it fast ? Go to Gnome settings choose mouse & touchpad .. And see if you can adjust anything over there
