Thank you for this! Very refreshing to watch a video that is all about teaching and technique rather than "Use X Product for this" making you believe you need X product to achieve the result. I strongly believe content creators should have one video for teaching and technique and another for product recommendations and comparisons when applying said techniques. Two videos rather than one so it leaves creators with more content to create! Your work and time in this video is very much appreciated! Thank you for the quality work.

Thank you, my friend. Bought a used van covered with vinyl lettering. Got the letters off with a heat gun but the adhesive & ghosting - wouldn't budge. Bought a machine polisher and watched a few dozen youtube videos on the subject - but still didn't understand the process til I saw your video. Great job. Great contribution. Appreciate ya! Thanks!

First of all great video! Now i recently bought a polisher to use on my car and soon remembered why i had not bought one before, and that is the mess they make. I have always hand polished my cars and as i am getting a bit older and lazier i thought i would get a polisher, i masked the car and went to work after 3 panels i was over it, there was polish over everything including the panels i had just done, so i put the polisher away and went back to hand polishing, which was actually quicker with the polish i was using. The only time i will use the polisher again is if i get a car that needs a complete cut back and it will be the first thing i do so i can then i can spend the next month getting the polish off of and out of all the places it shouldn't have gone.

I like this guy too and subscribed. I just watched a Fracophone guy (no offence intended) who recommended essentially everything unnecessarily that Maguires ever produced (offence intended). It would cost an amature like me easily $400 or $500 because I want to do things right. Chris Fix did a demonstration using one polish - equivelant to 10,000 grit - and wax paste. I have the polish and the Turtle wax paste or something very similar. I have very small scratches and I don't have to pay a penny more for products I don't need. David Alberta

Hello Osren, thank you for the very nice videos! You explain very well. Can you do a video on paint chip repair (with wetsanding?) Keep the videos coming please.
@OSRENOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Hey Spit Fiiire! Thank you watching and for your kind words! Hmm the request you have is very hard haha. Well if the paint is chipped, you can only touch it up with paint. The wet sanding comes after the paint is “dropped on” to level it. However it’s near impossible to get a perfect job doing so. Upon close inspection, you’ll definitely see some unevenness

This is one of the more highly organized videos on how to correctly polish a vehicle. Young man is very concise very thorough and also very structured. I have a couple questions though I noticed you didn’t blot out the polish in your 2 x 2 block. Also, I noticed you didn’t use any pad conditioner. Excellent video nonetheless, can’t wait for some additional content.
@OSRENOfficial Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for watching our videos and glad you liked! In response to your comment on blotting out the polish, I personally think it’s a matter of spreading and evening out the polish and it can be done in a few different ways. I would prefer to spread as I work it with minimal or negative pressure and at the lowest speed setting of the polisher. And pad conditioner, well I believe the pad should be primed or conditioned with the polish I intend to use so I don’t believe in putting something foreign to my polishing process. Or maybe not at the point of this writing lol there could be a good reason to do so then haha

Very nicely presented but I think some crucial steps prior to actual polishing were neglected: the vehicle must be properly washed; use clay bar to remove contaminants from the paint surface to reduce swirls; and polish/ buff in a shaded area (depending on the polish being used). But I did learn some new things.

If you get some time. Can you give us a short tutorial. On how to clean up a cloudy clearcoat. I’ve seen a few ladies cars did after you wash them. The clearcoat is like murky milky and it’s cloudy. I’d like to know what your process would be for taking care of that. Since you’re very structured. Thank you love the videos.
@OSRENOfficial Жыл бұрын
Hey there! Cloudy clear coat, I’m not 100% sure on what you mean there but I could be oxidation? If so please check out this video of ours Restoring DEAD, HEAVILY OXIDISED paintwork ??? kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJapeZmZebyggrs In summary of that video, I wasn’t able to rectify clear coat that has been damaged by UV (well, clear coats are not supposed to be damaged by UV in the first place) and usually it’s the not good clear coat that suffers oxidation.

Nice informative video, like to see a video explaining three differences, #1. hand car wash, #2. detailing and #3. paint correction. starting to see a bit of popular confusion with terms such as a glorified car wash , a wash is just that, detailing so called gloried I would say the little extras that you do over what a drive thru or D.I.Y would pay attention to. many people associate machine use with detailing, I say if machine use to correct a paint issue (defect) that is PAINT CORRECTION. too much confusion in industry.
