Take into account the lack of defence, or how it’s the 4 other players who are running the floor to get open, yeah he’s a 1 of 1 passer, but guess what, he’s a defensive liability at times, he isn’t the offensive scorer you think he really is because you go to this decade and see who’s got the most 30 point games, and somehow giannis is first over harden, bron, kd, curry, Luka, everyone, but jokic ain’t even on the top 10.. hes just now finally averaging 30 and it might not even hold.

Jokic is actually a great defensive player though. He ranks in the 98th percentile as an overall defensive player as he is really good at defending without fouling, awesome at getting deflections and his high basketball IQ allows him to read opponents plays

hmm... i don't think we can call jokic offense-only style one of the best peaks we've ever seen. every "best" comment involving jokic needs an * to remind people he plays one end. if the nuggets want to go anywhere, jokic needs to play both ends. we hold freak accountable for having no 3 point shot even though he's the leagues leading scorer, but we don't hold joker accountable for ignoring defense even though his team has a better defensive rating when he rests than when he plays. go ahead jokic stans. come get me instead of acknowledging that for your franchise to succeed, your big man needs to make improvements defensively & that may lead to a step-back offensively. it's the way of the modern league.

@ he's average to bad. please be honest. i agree he's a tremendous player but im ready for media at all levels to start holding him accountable like we've done to other superstars. there's no reason, for example, to criticize AD for health, giannis for his 3 point, Luka for defense, tatum for ups and downs, when we can't do the same for jokic.
