How do people at your med school react to your braids? I have faux locs and everyone is saying they wont be appropriate and will probably have to cut them out.

April Lowery Hey Love! It’s not a problem at our school. We wear our hair natural, in braids and in weaves and we don’t get any complaints. In all honesty, I believe it depends on the atmosphere at the school you attend. If you feel like it would be inappropriate (which I don’t know why it would be) then that’s something you’ll have to ask about and get a sense of. Hope that answers your question.

You don’t need to bring much. You can bring a small purse and/or a portfolio. During your interview, they will also provide you with things from the school such as little backpacks and notepads.

How would you deal with awkward silences during the interview? Perhaps the silence occurs because you may have to really think and organize your answer to their question.

Hey love, thanks for supporting our channel! If the silence is due to you or your interviewer gathering your thoughts, then that is perfectly normal and fine. Don't allow yourself to become uncomfortable during the interview because of moments of silence. Those moments are only awkward when you make them awkward. Also, be sure to have questions for your interviewer to fill those times when conversation begins to fizzle.
